The Battle of Armageddon
One may have heard that in the last days there will be a Battle of Armageddon, yet many really do not understand what that means. This article will attempt to clearly layout the plan of redemption for the Jewish nation of Israel and the return of the Lord Jesus at the end of Daniel's 70th week.
In the Old Testament, God raised up Abraham to be a light to the Gentiles, and then Moses was sent to deliver his seed from the bondage of Egypt after 400 years. Israel was the only nation that served the LORD through the covenant of Moses, until the Messiah came and brought in the New Covenant 2000 years ago (Jeremiah 31:31). Since Israel did not receive their Messiah, except a remnant, they were destroyed as a nation in 70AD and they have been scattered throughout the nations until the Fig Tree was replanted in 1948, which is the final generation (Ezekiel 36-37).
Roman's Chapter 9-11 of the New Testament tells us that once the fullness of the Gentiles comes in, then the LORD Almighty will turn His focus to Israel and their purification in Daniel's 70th Week (Jacob's Trouble) so that all nations would know that He is the LORD.
* Satan not only wants to destroy the true remnant of Christian believers, but also the entire Nation of Israel.
Jacob's Trouble - Daniel's 70th Week
It is my understanding that the travail of Zion spoken of by Jeremiah in the Old Testament passage below, is a reference to Daniel's 70th Week. Jeremiah calls it Jacob's Trouble and and that there is none like it which I believe includes the great tribulation that Jesus speaks about in Matthew 24:15-21. Prophet Jeremiah likens this time of trouble to a woman who is in painful childbrith (travail), yet out of it Israel and Judah will be saved. At the end of the of Jeremiah 30, in verse 24, it tells us this time of fierce anger of the LORD is for the latter years, and I believe that time is now.
- Jeremiah 30:4-9 KJV — And these are the words that the LORD spake concerning Israel and concerning Judah. For thus saith the LORD; We have heard a voice of trembling, of fear, and not of peace. Ask ye now, and see whether a man doth travail with child? wherefore do I see every man with his hands on his loins, as a woman in travail, and all faces are turned into paleness? Alas! for that day is great, so that none is like it: it is even the time of Jacob's trouble; but he shall be saved out of it. For it shall come to pass in that day, saith the LORD of hosts, that I will break his yoke from off thy neck, and will burst thy bonds, and strangers shall no more serve themselves of him: But they shall serve the LORD their God, and David their king, whom I will raise up unto them.
A similar passage was written by Prophet Isaiah concerning the Day of LORD and a woman in birth pangs:
- Isaiah 13:6-9 KJV — Howl ye; for the day of the LORD is at hand; it shall come as a destruction from the Almighty. Therefore shall all hands be faint, and every man's heart shall melt: And they shall be afraid: pangs and sorrows shall take hold of them; they shall be in pain as a woman that travaileth: they shall be amazed one at another; their faces shall be as flames. Behold, the day of the LORD cometh, cruel both with wrath and fierce anger, to lay the land desolate: and he shall destroy the sinners thereof out of it.
It appears according to Micah 5:3, the Lord Jesus dispersed the Nation Israel after they smote Him with a rod of iron, which I believe speaks of when He was crucified around 2000 years ago. We see after Jesus was crucified, Israel was cut off from being a nation in 70 AD until now (1948), which is the Fig Tree Generation. This scripture also speaks of the woman who I believe is Israel who is travailing in child birth, bringing forth a child (Millennial Kingdom) at which point Israel is reconciled:
- Micah 5:1-3 KJV — Now gather thyself in troops, O daughter of troops: he hath laid siege against us: they shall smite the judge of Israel with a rod upon the cheek. But thou, Bethlehem Ephratah, though thou be little among the thousands of Judah, yet out of thee shall he come forth unto me that is to be ruler in Israel; whose goings forth have been from of old, from everlasting. Therefore will he give them up, until the time that she which travaileth hath brought forth: then the remnant of his brethren shall return unto the children of Israel.
- Daniel 7:13-15 KJV — I saw in the night visions, and, behold, one like the Son of man came with the clouds of heaven, and came to the Ancient of days, and they brought him near before him. And there was given him dominion, and glory, and a kingdom, that all people, nations, and languages, should serve him: his dominion is an everlasting dominion, which shall not pass away, and his kingdom that which shall not be destroyed. I Daniel was grieved in my spirit in the midst of my body, and the visions of my head troubled me.
I believe at this point in time, as Israel increases in her metaphorical pregnancy, we are seeing the Birthpains (sorrows in some translations) of Matthew 24 increase in intensity and frequency as this age comes to a close. I believe as this dispensation of grace ends and the fullness of the Gentiles is complete, the faithful 5 wise virgins will be taken up to Heaven before the trevail and the revealing or the Crowning of the AntiChrist on earth, which begins the final 7 years of tribulation ‐ which is the painful birth. I believe the Man-Child (Body of Christ) is in the delivery room now and is crowning from the womb and will soon be caught up unto God (1 Corinthians 15:52, Revelation 3:10).
KJV Apocrypha - Birthpains
- 2 Esdras 16 - 35 Listen now to these things, and understand them, O servants of the Lord. 36 Behold the word of the Lord, receive it; do not disbelieve what the Lord says.[a] 37 Behold, the calamities draw near, and are not delayed. 38 Just as a woman with child, in the ninth month, when the time of her delivery draws near, has great pains about her womb for two or three hours beforehand, and when the child comes forth from the womb, there will not be a moment’s delay, 39 so the calamities will not delay in coming forth upon the earth, and the world will groan, and pains will seize it on every side.
- 2 Esdras 16 - 40 “Hear my words, O my people; prepare for battle, and in the midst of the calamities be like strangers on the earth. 41 Let him that sells be like one who will flee; let him that buys be like one who will lose; 42 let him that does business be like one who will not make a profit; and let him that builds a house be like one who will not live in it; 43 let him that sows be like one who will not reap; so also him that prunes the vines, like one who will not gather the grapes; 44 them that marry, like those who will have no children; and them that do not marry, like those who are widowed. 45 Because those who labor, labor in vain; 46 for strangers shall gather their fruits, and plunder their goods, and overthrow their houses, and take their children captive; for in captivity and famine they will beget their children. 47 Those who conduct business, do it only to be plundered; the more they adorn their cities, their houses and possessions, and their persons, 48 the more angry I will be with them for their sins,” says the Lord.
We see in Matthew 24, Jesus gives us signs of His return and the end of this age, and after He gives a number of signs, He says they are the beginning of the birthpains ("sorrows" in some translations). Likewise, the Book of 1 Thessalonians 5 tells us that the Day of the LORD will come as a thief in the night and sudden destruction will strike suddenly as a woman in birthpains:
- 1 Thessalonians 5:1-6 KJV — But of the times and the seasons, brethren, ye have no need that I write unto you. For yourselves know perfectly that the day of the Lord so cometh as a thief in the night. For when they shall say, Peace and safety; then sudden destruction cometh upon them, as travail upon a woman with child; and they shall not escape. But ye, brethren, are not in darkness, that that day should overtake you as a thief. Ye are all the children of light, and the children of the day: we are not of the night, nor of darkness. Therefore let us not sleep, as do others; but let us watch and be sober.
- Isaiah 66:4-10 KJV - I also will choose their delusions, and will bring their fears upon them; because when I called, none did answer; when I spake, they did not hear: but they did evil before mine eyes, and chose that in which I delighted not. [5] Hear the word of the Lord, ye that tremble at his word; Your brethren that hated you, that cast you out for my name's sake, said, Let the Lord be glorified: but he shall appear to your joy, and they shall be ashamed. [6] A voice of noise from the city, a voice from the temple, a voice of the Lord that rendereth recompence to his enemies. [7] Before she travailed, she brought forth; before her pain came, she was delivered of a man child. [8] Who hath heard such a thing? who hath seen such things? Shall the earth be made to bring forth in one day? or shall a nation be born at once? for as soon as Zion travailed, she brought forth her children. [9] Shall I bring to the birth, and not cause to bring forth? saith the Lord : shall I cause to bring forth, and shut the womb ? saith thy God. [10] Rejoice ye with Jerusalem, and be glad with her, all ye that love her: rejoice for joy with her, all ye that mourn for her.
This Old Testament passage also seems to allude to Jacob's Trouble as a woman in travail and a resurrection or rapture of sorts. This passage could be dual-prophetic:
We also see in the Epistle to the Romans Church, that all of creation groans and travails (in birthpains) waiting to be delivered even our deliverance from our physical bodies of death and corruption:
- Isaiah 26:17-21 KJV - Like as a woman with child, that draweth near the time of her delivery, is in pain, and crieth out in her pangs; so have we been in thy sight, O Lord. [18] We have been with child, we have been in pain, we have as it were brought forth wind; we have not wrought any deliverance in the earth; neither have the inhabitants of the world fallen. [19] Thy dead men shall live, together with my dead body shall they arise. Awake and sing, ye that dwell in dust: for thy dew is as the dew of herbs, and the earth shall cast out the dead. [20] Come, my people, enter thou into thy chambers, and shut thy doors about thee: hide thyself as it were for a little moment, until the indignation be overpast. [21] For, behold, the Lord cometh out of his place to punish the inhabitants of the earth for their iniquity: the earth also shall disclose her blood, and shall no more cover her slain.
We also see in the Epistle to the Romans Church, that all of creation groans and travails (in birthpains) waiting to be delivered even our deliverance from our physical bodies of death and corruption:
- Romans 8:14-23 KJV - For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God. [15] For ye have not received the spirit of bondage again to fear; but ye have received the Spirit of adoption, whereby we cry, Abba, Father. [16] The Spirit itself beareth witness with our spirit, that we are the children of God: [17] And if children, then heirs; heirs of God, and joint-heirs with Christ; if so be that we suffer with him, that we may be also glorified together. [18] For I reckon that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory which shall be revealed in us. [19] For the earnest expectation of the creature waiteth for the manifestation of the sons of God. [20] For the creature was made subject to vanity, not willingly, but by reason of him who hath subjected the same in hope, [21] Because the creature itself also shall be delivered from the bondage of corruption into the glorious liberty of the children of God. [22] For we know that the whole creation groaneth and travaileth in pain together until now. [23] And not only they, but ourselves also, which have the firstfruits of the Spirit, even we ourselves groan within ourselves, waiting for the adoption, to wit, the redemption of our body.
Daniel's 70 Weeks
According to many Bible scholars, there is one more week left for the nation of Israel, which is a week of years. Daniel 9:27 tells us that the AntiChrist will confirm a covenant with Israel and many nations for this final week (7 years).
Israel will be under the Levitical Preisthood animal sacrifices in the Third Temple (Revelation 11), until the AntiChrist turns against Israel and commits the abomination of Desolation in the Third Temple (2 Thessalonians 2) very similar to Antiochus Epiphanies in the Book of Maccabees.
Once Daniel's 70th Week is completed the LORD Almighty will have redeemed all of Israel, including the grafted in Gentiles whom will die for His name's sake (Revelation 20). For the Gentiles are the seed of Abraham by their faith in the Messiah (Galatians 3:29).
- Daniel 9:24 KJV — Seventy weeks are determined upon thy people and upon thy holy city, to finish the transgression, and to make an end of sins, and to make reconciliation for iniquity, and to bring in everlasting righteousness, and to seal up the vision and prophecy, and to anoint the most Holy.

The Zechariah 12 Prophecy
Israel Invaded?
According to Bible prophecy, Israel has been brought back into the Promised Land given to Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob for an inheritance forever (Ezekiel 36-38). Yet, we see how Israel is surrounded on all sides just as Zechariah 12 prophesied thousands of years ago:
- Zechariah 12:3 KJV - And in that day will I make Jerusalem a burdensome stone for all people: all that burden themselves with it shall be cut in pieces, though all the people of the earth be gathered together against it.
In addition, US President Donald Trump thinks he has the authority to divide God's land given to Israel according to his own agenda. This is a great sin according to the Book of Zechariah that speaks of the latter days concerning Israel:
In Matthew 24, verse 15, it speaks of the Abomination of Desolation spoken of by Daniel the prophet standing in the Holy Place (see Daniel 9:27 and 2 Thessalonians 2:3), in which case those who are Judea are told to flee immediately into the mountains at the second half of Daniel's 70th Week. I believe that they will flee to what is known as Petra or Bozra until the redeemer Yeshua Jesus returns at the end of Daniel's 70th Week (Revelation 19-20) to liberate them.
We know in Revelation 11 that it speaks of the Third Temple being built and also that the outer court will be trodden down by the Gentiles for 42 months, I believe this is the second half of Daniel's 70th week after the Abomination of Desolation. I believe Israel will be overtaken by the AntiChrist and his troops until Jesus returns just as Judas Macabbeus in the Hanukkah account.
- Zechariah 13:8-9 KJV — And it shall come to pass, that in all the land, saith the LORD, two parts therein shall be cut off and die; but the third shall be left therein. And I will bring the third part through the fire, and will refine them as silver is refined, and will try them as gold is tried: they shall call on my name, and I will hear them: I will say, It is my people: and they shall say, The LORD is my God.
I believe those that are redeemed will be the ones who believe in Yeshua Jesus according to Zechariah 12:10.
- Zechariah 12:10 KJV — And I will pour upon the house of David, and upon the inhabitants of Jerusalem, the spirit of grace and of supplications: and they shall look upon me whom they have pierced, and they shall mourn for him, as one mourneth for his only son, and shall be in bitterness for him, as one that is in bitterness for his firstborn.
We also read in Luke 21 that Israel will then be scattered into all nations after the Abomination of Desolation occurs until the time of the fulness of the Gentiles which seems to occur at the return of Jesus. We see that this period of 42 months (1260 Days) falls in line with Daniel 12, where it speaks of one thousand three hundred and thirty days which is 70 days past the one thousand two hundred and sixty days, most likely to account for the Battle of Armageddon and the purifying of the Temple.
- Daniel 12:11-12 KJV — And from the time that the daily sacrifice shall be taken away, and the abomination that maketh desolate set up, there shall be a thousand two hundred and ninety days. Blessed is he that waiteth, and cometh to the thousand three hundred and five and thirty days.
The Remnant of Israel - Daniel's 70th Week
- Psalm 60:9-12 KJV — Who will bring me into the strong city? who will lead me into Edom? Wilt not thou, O God, which hadst cast us off? and thou, O God, which didst not go out with our armies? Give us help from trouble: for vain is the help of man. Through God we shall do valiantly: for he it is that shall tread down our enemies.
Petra, meaning “Rock” in Greek, is a deserted city south of the Dead Sea in Jordan. In antiquity it was known as Seir, metropolis of the Edomites. In later times, the Nabateans settled in the mountain stronghold of the dislodged Edomites and called their capital Petra. The city is situated in a rift valley which extends from the Kidron Valley in Jerusalem through the Dead Sea and further south. Indications are that an earthquake and volcanic activity occurred here, forming a big canyon with rocky ravines and steep cliffs. The remains of the spectacular city consist of temples, tombs and dwellings carved out of the sandstone cliffs. The only entrance to the city is through a narrow gorge almost two kilometres in length, which can easily be guarded and even blocked if necessary, thus rendering Petra a very safe refuge. An interesting note is that Revelation 12 tells us the Woman, a representation of Israel the nation, will flee into the wilderness for three and a half years. This is supported by the verses in Matthew 24 after the Abomination of Desolation, which is the final half of Daniel's 70th week:
- Revelation 12:13-17 KJV - And when the dragon saw that he was cast unto the earth, he persecuted the woman which brought forth the man child. [14] And to the woman were given two wings of a great eagle, that she might fly into the wilderness, into her place, where she is nourished for a time, and times, and half a time, from the face of the serpent. [15] And the serpent cast out of his mouth water as a flood after the woman, that he might cause her to be carried away of the flood. [16] And the earth helped the woman, and the earth opened her mouth, and swallowed up the flood which the dragon cast out of his mouth. [17] And the dragon was wroth with the woman, and went to make war with the remnant of her seed, which keep the commandments of God, and have the testimony of Jesus Christ.
- Matthew 24:15-21 KJV — When ye therefore shall see the abomination of desolation, spoken of by Daniel the prophet, stand in the holy place, (whoso readeth, let him understand:) Then let them which be in Judaea flee into the mountains: Let him which is on the housetop not come down to take any thing out of his house: Neither let him which is in the field return back to take his clothes. And woe unto them that are with child, and to them that give suck in those days! But pray ye that your flight be not in the winter, neither on the sabbath day: For then shall be great tribulation, such as was not since the beginning of the world to this time, no, nor ever shall be.
* It is commonly understood that a "time" is one year, and "times" is two years, and a "half a time" is half a year. This makes three and half years the same as 42 months.
In the Book of Zechariah, after the Holy Spirit is poured out in Jerusalem I believe in Daniel's 70th week (Zechariah 12), a remnant will be saved and purified (Zechariah 13). It is said that one third of Israel will be spared, and it seems that thus verse in Micah 5:2 speaks of the remnant being delivered at the return of Jesus the Messiah:
- Micah 2:12-13 KJV - I will surely assemble, O Jacob, all of thee; I will surely gather the remnant of Israel; I will put them together as the sheep of Bozrah, as the flock in the midst of their fold: they shall make great noise by reason of the multitude of men. [13] The breaker is come up before them: they have broken up, and have passed through the gate, and are gone out by it: and their king shall pass before them, and the Lord on the head of them.
From a Christian source, it is proposed that Bozrah is a reference to Petra - the rock enclave in which the remnant of Israel will flee to (Matthew 24:15-21) after the Abomination of Desolation takes place in the Third Temple (2 Thessalonians 2). It seems they will wait there until Jesus returns to destroy the AntiChrist and False Prophet and break up the wolves surrounding Israel as shepherd with His rod (Revelation 19-20):
"Jesus is clearly teaching about the sheepcote and how the shepherd places himself in the only door opening to protect the sheep from the enemy. In Hebrew Bozrah means “the sheep of the fold” and describes the place the Jews will flee to in the days to come according the God’s Word. Today in wilderness of southern Jordan is a tock fortress surrounded by harsh rugged mountains called Petra, the Roman name for “The Rock.” The ancient Nabateans conquered the Edomites and created a treasure city with incredible temples and altars into the red rock to worship their pagan gods and goddesses. The only entrance into this great city hidden in the clefts of the rock is through a very narrow passage called the Siq, which is several long winding through a narrow passage with walls over 500 ft high….Petra is the perfect picture of a sheepcote!"
This passage of scripture from Isaiah seems to speak to the battle at Bozrah and the redemption of the nation of Israel in Daniel's 70th Week:
- Isaiah 34:1-10 KJV — Come near, ye nations, to hear; and hearken, ye people: let the earth hear, and all that is therein; the world, and all things that come forth of it. For the indignation of the LORD is upon all nations, and his fury upon all their armies: he hath utterly destroyed them, he hath delivered them to the slaughter. Their slain also shall be cast out, and their stink shall come up out of their carcases, and the mountains shall be melted with their blood. And all the host of heaven shall be dissolved, and the heavens shall be rolled together as a scroll: and all their host shall fall down, as the leaf falleth off from the vine, and as a falling fig from the fig tree. For my sword shall be bathed in heaven: behold, it shall come down upon Idumea, and upon the people of my curse, to judgment. The sword of the LORD is filled with blood, it is made fat with fatness, and with the blood of lambs and goats, with the fat of the kidneys of rams: for the LORD hath a sacrifice in Bozrah, and a great slaughter in the land of Idumea. And the unicorns shall come down with them, and the bullocks with the bulls; and their land shall be soaked with blood, and their dust made fat with fatness. For it is the day of the LORD'S vengeance, and the year of recompences for the controversy of Zion. And the streams thereof shall be turned into pitch, and the dust thereof into brimstone, and the land thereof shall become burning pitch. It shall not be quenched night nor day; the smoke thereof shall go up for ever: from generation to generation it shall lie waste; none shall pass through it for ever and ever.
While I believe that remnant of Israel who receives Yeshua Jesus as Messiah will be added to Christ's Millennial Kingdom at his return, I also believe the Pre-Tribulation raptured Christians and Old Testament Saints will return with Christ for the Battle of Armageddon.
The Battle of Armageddon
The Bible tells us both in the Old Testament (Jewish Tanakh) and New Testament that the LORD God Almighty will defend Israel in the last days and make Himself known among all the nations, that He is the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob. This is known as the Battle of Armageddon when the Lord Jesus returns to defeat the AntiChrist, the False Prophet, and all the nations gathered against Israel (see Revelation 19).
It seems that this Battle of Armageddon will take place in the valley of Jezreel or the Valley of Jehoshaphat. Here is an excerpt from Israelmybeloved.com:
The staging ground for the Battle of Armageddon – when all the nations line up and attack Israel in the end – might be in the Valley of Jezreel, but the target and focus of this war is Jerusalem – the City of the Great King. If this battle is to take place mainly in the Valley of Jehoshaphat, which begins in and around Jerusalem and descends to the Dead Sea Valley; and if this valley will turn into a river of blood whose length is 160 miles/257 km, then it will reach as far as Bozrah, which lies towards the southern end of the Dead Sea. This is remarkable, considering that Isaiah 63:1-6 describes the Lord – who in His wrath has tread these nations underfoot – as “the One coming from Bozrah; His garments stained with blood!”
Also, the Book of Revelation tells us that the final judgment, which is the 7th vial/bowl, will be poured out with regard to the valley of Armageddon:
- Revelation 16:16 KJV — And he gathered them together into a place called in the Hebrew tongue Armageddon.
It appears that this Battle was prophesied by Joel in the Old Testament. and it appears to be related to the latter days alliance of Gog of Magog (Ezekiel 38):
- Joel 3:11-21 KJV — Assemble yourselves, and come, all ye heathen, and gather yourselves together round about: thither cause thy mighty ones to come down, O LORD. Let the heathen be wakened, and come up to the valley of Jehoshaphat: for there will I sit to judge all the heathen round about. Put ye in the sickle, for the harvest is ripe: come, get you down; for the press is full, the fats overflow; for their wickedness is great. Multitudes, multitudes in the valley of decision: for the day of the LORD is near in the valley of decision. The sun and the moon shall be darkened, and the stars shall withdraw their shining. The LORD also shall roar out of Zion, and utter his voice from Jerusalem; and the heavens and the earth shall shake: but the LORD will be the hope of his people, and the strength of the children of Israel. So shall ye know that I am the LORD your God dwelling in Zion, my holy mountain: then shall Jerusalem be holy, and there shall no strangers pass through her any more. And it shall come to pass in that day, that the mountains shall drop down new wine, and the hills shall flow with milk, and all the rivers of Judah shall flow with waters, and a fountain shall come forth of the house of the LORD, and shall water the valley of Shittim. Egypt shall be a desolation, and Edom shall be a desolate wilderness, for the violence against the children of Judah, because they have shed innocent blood in their land. But Judah shall dwell for ever, and Jerusalem from generation to generation. For I will cleanse their blood that I have not cleansed: for the LORD dwelleth in Zion.
It appears that this same battle described in Joel 3 is also mentioned by the prophet Zechariah:
- Zechariah 14:1-11 KJV — Behold, the day of the LORD cometh, and thy spoil shall be divided in the midst of thee. For I will gather all nations against Jerusalem to battle; and the city shall be taken, and the houses rifled, and the women ravished; and half of the city shall go forth into captivity, and the residue of the people shall not be cut off from the city. Then shall the LORD go forth, and fight against those nations, as when he fought in the day of battle. And his feet shall stand in that day upon the mount of Olives, which is before Jerusalem on the east, and the mount of Olives shall cleave in the midst thereof toward the east and toward the west, and there shall be a very great valley; and half of the mountain shall remove toward the north, and half of it toward the south. And ye shall flee to the valley of the mountains; for the valley of the mountains shall reach unto Azal: yea, ye shall flee, like as ye fled from before the earthquake in the days of Uzziah king of Judah: and the LORD my God shall come, and all the saints with thee. And it shall come to pass in that day, that the light shall not be clear, nor dark: But it shall be one day which shall be known to the LORD, not day, nor night: but it shall come to pass, that at evening time it shall be light. And it shall be in that day, that living waters shall go out from Jerusalem; half of them toward the former sea, and half of them toward the hinder sea: in summer and in winter shall it be. And the LORD shall be king over all the earth: in that day shall there be one LORD, and his name one. All the land shall be turned as a plain from Geba to Rimmon south of Jerusalem: and it shall be lifted up, and inhabited in her place, from Benjamin's gate unto the place of the first gate, unto the corner gate, and from the tower of Hananeel unto the king's winepresses. And men shall dwell in it, and there shall be no more utter destruction; but Jerusalem shall be safely inhabited.
It appears that Zechariah 14 is speaking of the Battle of Armageddon which is when the LORD Jesus returns and touches His feet on the mount of Olives, then His Millenial Kingdom will be established in Jerusalem and He will rule the nations with a rod of iron (Psalsm 2, Revelation 20). We see this same scene appears to be spoken of by the Prophet Isaiah as well:
- Isaiah 63:1-7 KJV — Who is this that cometh from Edom, with dyed garments from Bozrah? this that is glorious in his apparel, travelling in the greatness of his strength? I that speak in righteousness, mighty to save. Wherefore art thou red in thine apparel, and thy garments like him that treadeth in the winefat? I have trodden the winepress alone; and of the people there was none with me: for I will tread them in mine anger, and trample them in my fury; and their blood shall be sprinkled upon my garments, and I will stain all my raiment. For the day of vengeance is in mine heart, and the year of my redeemed is come. And I looked, and there was none to help; and I wondered that there was none to uphold: therefore mine own arm brought salvation unto me; and my fury, it upheld me. And I will tread down the people in mine anger, and make them drunk in my fury, and I will bring down their strength to the earth. I will mention the lovingkindnesses of the LORD, and the praises of the LORD, according to all that the LORD hath bestowed on us, and the great goodness toward the house of Israel, which he hath bestowed on them according to his mercies, and according to the multitude of his lovingkindnesses.
- Isaiah 66:23-24 KJV — And it shall come to pass, that from one new moon to another, and from one sabbath to another, shall all flesh come to worship before me, saith the LORD. And they shall go forth, and look upon the carcases of the men that have transgressed against me: for their worm shall not die, neither shall their fire be quenched; and they shall be an abhorring unto all flesh.
The scene with Christ stamping down the winepress of God is mentioned in the Book of Revelations and is noted in His return with His garments being dipped in blood. We see that these scenes are paralleled that of the Book of Revelation where Jesus returns to destroy all the nations gathered together against Him:
- Revelation 19:11-21 KJV — And I saw heaven opened, and behold a white horse; and he that sat upon him was called Faithful and True, and in righteousness he doth judge and make war. His eyes were as a flame of fire, and on his head were many crowns; and he had a name written, that no man knew, but he himself. And he was clothed with a vesture dipped in blood: and his name is called The Word of God. And the armies which were in heaven followed him upon white horses, clothed in fine linen, white and clean. And out of his mouth goeth a sharp sword, that with it he should smite the nations: and he shall rule them with a rod of iron: and he treadeth the winepress of the fierceness and wrath of Almighty God. And he hath on his vesture and on his thigh a name written, KING OF KINGS, AND LORD OF LORDS. And I saw an angel standing in the sun; and he cried with a loud voice, saying to all the fowls that fly in the midst of heaven, Come and gather yourselves together unto the supper of the great God; That ye may eat the flesh of kings, and the flesh of captains, and the flesh of mighty men, and the flesh of horses, and of them that sit on them, and the flesh of all men, both free and bond, both small and great. And I saw the beast, and the kings of the earth, and their armies, gathered together to make war against him that sat on the horse, and against his army. And the beast was taken, and with him the false prophet that wrought miracles before him, with which he deceived them that had received the mark of the beast, and them that worshipped his image. These both were cast alive into a lake of fire burning with brimstone. And the remnant were slain with the sword of him that sat upon the horse, which sword proceeded out of his mouth: and all the fowls were filled with their flesh.
It appears that the same event that is spoken of in Revelation 19, concerning the supper of the great God and the return of Christ, is referenced in the latter days Gog of Magog prophecy in relation to Daniel's 70th Week and the salvation of Israel:
- Ezekiel 39:17-29 KJV — And, thou son of man, thus saith the Lord GOD; Speak unto every feathered fowl, and to every beast of the field, Assemble yourselves, and come; gather yourselves on every side to my sacrifice that I do sacrifice for you, even a great sacrifice upon the mountains of Israel, that ye may eat flesh, and drink blood. Ye shall eat the flesh of the mighty, and drink the blood of the princes of the earth, of rams, of lambs, and of goats, of bullocks, all of them fatlings of Bashan. And ye shall eat fat till ye be full, and drink blood till ye be drunken, of my sacrifice which I have sacrificed for you. Thus ye shall be filled at my table with horses and chariots, with mighty men, and with all men of war, saith the Lord GOD. And I will set my glory among the heathen, and all the heathen shall see my judgment that I have executed, and my hand that I have laid upon them. So the house of Israel shall know that I am the LORD their God from that day and forward. And the heathen shall know that the house of Israel went into captivity for their iniquity: because they trespassed against me, therefore hid I my face from them, and gave them into the hand of their enemies: so fell they all by the sword. According to their uncleanness and according to their transgressions have I done unto them, and hid my face from them. Therefore thus saith the Lord GOD; Now will I bring again the captivity of Jacob, and have mercy upon the whole house of Israel, and will be jealous for my holy name; After that they have borne their shame, and all their trespasses whereby they have trespassed against me, when they dwelt safely in their land, and none made them afraid. When I have brought them again from the people, and gathered them out of their enemies' lands, and am sanctified in them in the sight of many nations; Then shall they know that I am the LORD their God, which caused them to be led into captivity among the heathen: but I have gathered them unto their own land, and have left none of them any more there. Neither will I hide my face any more from them: for I have poured out my spirit upon the house of Israel, saith the Lord GOD.
The Lion of Judah Comes
In Genesis 49, Jacob son of Isaac called to his 12 sons to prophesy to them what was to come in the last days in respect to each of their lineage or tribes. Jacob tells us some very interesting things about Judah and the coming Messiah (Shiloh):
- Genesis 49:8-12 KJV — Judah, thou art he whom thy brethren shall praise: thy hand shall be in the neck of thine enemies; thy father's children shall bow down before thee. Judah is a lion's whelp: from the prey, my son, thou art gone up: he stooped down, he couched as a lion, and as an old lion; who shall rouse him up? The sceptre shall not depart from Judah, nor a lawgiver from between his feet, until Shiloh come; and unto him shall the gathering of the people be. Binding his foal unto the vine, and his ass's colt unto the choice vine; he washed his garments in wine, and his clothes in the blood of grapes: His eyes shall be red with wine, and his teeth white with milk.
In the Book of Revelation, we see Jesus is the Lion of the tribe of Judah, as He will return as a mighty warrior like Judah son of Jacob - I believe.
- Revelation 5:5 KJV — And one of the elders saith unto me, Weep not: behold, the Lion of the tribe of Juda, the Root of David, hath prevailed to open the book, and to loose the seven seals thereof.
According to the Book of Jasher, which may be the same one referenced twice in the Old Testament, it appears Judah was a mighty warrior like a lion:
- Jasher Ch. 54 - 46 And whilst they were fleeing, Judah and his brethren pursued them unto the house of Pharaoh, and they all escaped, and Judah again sat before Joseph and roared at him like a lion, and gave a great and tremendous shriek at him. 47 And the shriek was heard at a distance, and all the inhabitants of Succoth heard it, and all Egypt quaked at the sound of the shriek, and also the walls of Egypt and of the land of Goshen fell in from the shaking of the earth, and Pharaoh also fell from his throne upon the ground, and also all the pregnant women of Egypt and Goshen miscarried when they heard the noise of the shaking, for they were terribly afraid. 48 And Pharaoh sent word, saying, What is this thing that has this day happened in the land of Egypt? and they came and told him all the things from beginning to end, and Pharaoh was alarmed and he wondered and was greatly afraid.
Extra-Biblical Texts and Daniel's 70th Week
It appears this extra-biblical book, which was included in the 1611 King James Apocrypha, is said to be attributed to the scribe Ezra of the Old Testament around the time of the captivity of Israel when the Temple was destroyed. It appears, this prophecy could be in relation to the judgment coming upon the whole world in Daniel's 70th Week:
- 2 Esdras 15 (KJVA Apocrypha) - 14 Woe to the world and them that dwell therein! 15 For the sword and their destruction draweth nigh, and one people shall stand up and fight against another, and swords in their hands. 16 For there shall be sedition among men, and invading one another; they shall not regard their kings nor princes, and the course of their actions shall stand in their power. 17 A man shall desire to go into a city, and shall not be able. 18 For because of their pride the cities shall be troubled, the houses shall be destroyed, and men shall be afraid. 19 A man shall have no pity upon his neighbour, but shall destroy their houses with the sword, and spoil their goods, because of the lack of bread, and for great tribulation. 20 Behold, saith God, I will call together all the kings of the earth to reverence me, which are from the rising of the sun, from the south, from the east, and Libanus; to turn themselves one against another, and repay the things that they have done to them. 21 Like as they do yet this day unto my chosen, so will I do also, and recompense in their bosom. Thus saith the Lord God; 22 My right hand shall not spare the sinners, and my sword shall not cease over them that shed innocent blood upon the earth. 23 The fire is gone forth from his wrath, and hath consumed the foundations of the earth, and the sinners, like the straw that is kindled. 24 Woe to them that sin, and keep not my commandments! saith the Lord. 25 I will not spare them: go your way, ye children, from the power, defile not my sanctuary. 26 For the Lord knoweth all them that sin against him, and therefore delivereth he them unto death and destruction. 27 For now are the plagues come upon the whole earth and ye shall remain in them: for God shall not deliver you, because ye have sinned against him.
In the Book of 1 Enoch, known also as Ethiopian Enoch, is said to be verified by the Dead Sea Scrolls found in the West Bank of Israel and is supposed to be attributed to the writing of the era of the Second Temple. Yet, the Book of Jude, which quotes directly from the first chapter of 1 Enoch, says that this is a Prophecy from Enoch the 7th from Adam, and speaks of the last days generation and the judgment that will befall the entire world:
- Jude 1:14-15 KJV — And Enoch also, the seventh from Adam, prophesied of these, saying, Behold, the Lord cometh with ten thousands of his saints, To execute judgment upon all, and to convince all that are ungodly among them of all their ungodly deeds which they have ungodly committed, and of all their hard speeches which ungodly sinners have spoken against him.
This passage from 1 Enoch could be speaking of the judgment to come in Daniel's 70th Week:
- 1 Enoch Chapter XCIX (99) - 4. In those days the nations shall be stirred up, And the families of the nations shall arise on the day of destruction. 5. And in those days the destitute shall go forth and carry off their children, And they shall abandon them, so that their children shall perish through them: Yea, they shall abandon their children (that are still) sucklings, and not return to them, And shall have no pity on their beloved ones. 6. And again I swear to you, ye sinners, that sin is prepared for a day of unceasing bloodshed. 7. And they who worship stones, and grave images of gold and silver and wood <and stone> and clay, and those who worship impure spirits and demons, and all kinds of idols not according to knowledge, shall get no manner of help from them. 8. And they shall become godless by reason of the folly of their hearts, And their eyes shall be blinded through the fear of their hearts And through visions in their dreams. 9. Through these they shall become godless and fearful; For they shall have wrought all their work in a lie, And shall have worshiped a stone: Therefore in an instant shall they perish. 10. But in those days blessed are all they who accept the words of wisdom, and understand them, And observe the paths of the Most High, and walk in the path of His righteousness, And become not godless with the godless; For they shall be saved 11. Woe to you who spread evil to your neighbours; For you shall be slain in Sheol. 12. Woe to you who make deceitful and false measures, And (to them) who cause bitterness on the earth; For they shall thereby be utterly consumed. 13. Woe to you who build your houses through the grievous toil of others, And all their building materials are the bricks and stones of sin; I tell you ye shall have no peace. 14. Woe to them who reject the measure and eternal heritage of their fathers And whose souls follow after idols; For they shall have no rest. 15. Woe to them who work unrighteousness and help oppression, And slay their neighbours until the day of the great judgement. 16. For He shall cast down your glory, And bring affliction on your hearts, And shall arouse His fierce indignation, And destroy you all with the sword; And all the holy and righteous shall remember your sins.
In the following Chapter of 1 Enoch, we see that people turn against their own sons and brothers and the blood reaches up to the Horse's breast:
- Enoch 1 Chapter C (100) - 1. And in those days in one place the fathers together with their sons shall be smitten And brothers one with another shall fall in death Till the streams flow with their blood 2 . For a man shall not withhold his hand from slaying his sons and his sons' sons, And the sinner shall not withhold his hand from his honoured brother: From dawn till sunset they shall slay one another. 3. And the horse shall walk up to the breast in the blood of sinners, And the chariot shall be submerged to its height. 4 In those days the angels shall descend into the secret places And gather together into one place all those who brought down sin And the Most High will arise on that day of judgement To execute great judgement amongst sinners. 5. And over all the righteous and holy He will appoint guardians from amongst the holy angels To guard them as the apple of an eye, Until He makes an end of all wickedness and all sin, And though the righteous sleep a long sleep, they have nought to fear. 6. And (then) the children of the earth shall see the wise in security, And shall understand all the words of this book, And recognize that their riches shall not be able to save them In the overthrow of their sins. 7. Woe to you, Sinners, on the day of strong anguish, Ye who afflict the righteous and burn them with fire: Ye shall be requited according to your works. 8. Woe to you, ye obstinate of heart, Who watch in order to devise wickedness: Therefore shall fear come upon you And there shall be none to help you. 9. Woe to you, ye sinners, on account of the words of your mouth, And on account of the deeds of your hands which your godlessness as wrought, In blazing flames burning worse than fire shall ye burn.
We also see in the Apocryphal Book of 2nd Esdras (Ezra), which was included with the 1611 King James Bible, seems to also speak of the great judgment at the end of this age, in which the blood will reach the horse's belly:
- 2 Esdras 15:34 - See the clouds from the east, and from the north to the south! Their appearance is exceedingly threatening, full of wrath and storm. 35 They shall clash against one another and shall pour out a heavy tempest on the earth, and their own tempest;[k] and there shall be blood from the sword as high as a horse’s belly 36 and a man’s thigh and a camel’s hock. 37 And there shall be fear and great trembling on the earth; those who see that wrath shall be horror-stricken, and they shall be seized with trembling. 38 After that, heavy storm clouds shall be stirred up from the south, and from the north, and another part from the west. 39 But the winds from the east shall prevail over the cloud that was[l] raised in wrath, and shall dispel it; and the tempest[m] that was to cause destruction by the east wind shall be driven violently toward the south and west. 40 Great and mighty clouds, full of wrath and tempest, shall rise and destroy all the earth and its inhabitants, and shall pour out upon every high and lofty place[n] a terrible tempest, 41 fire and hail and flying swords and floods of water, so that all the fields and all the streams shall be filled with the abundance of those waters. 42 They shall destroy cities and walls, mountains and hills, trees of the forests, and grass of the meadows, and their grain. 43 They shall go on steadily to Babylon and blot it out. 44 They shall come to it and surround it; they shall pour out on it the tempest[o] and all its fury;[p] then the dust and smoke shall reach the sky, and all who are around it shall mourn for it. 45 And those who survive shall serve those who have destroyed it.
In this passage from the Book of Revelation, written by John the Apostle of Jesus, we see a prophecy concerning the judgment coming upon the ungodly within Daniel's 70th week, known also as Jacob's Trouble. This chapter speaks about resisting the AntiChrist and his mark, and then proceeds to speak of the winepress of the wrath of God YHVH in which the blood reaches up to the horse bridles:
- Revelation 14:14-20 KJV — And I looked, and behold a white cloud, and upon the cloud one sat like unto the Son of man, having on his head a golden crown, and in his hand a sharp sickle. And another angel came out of the temple, crying with a loud voice to him that sat on the cloud, Thrust in thy sickle, and reap: for the time is come for thee to reap; for the harvest of the earth is ripe. And he that sat on the cloud thrust in his sickle on the earth; and the earth was reaped. And another angel came out of the temple which is in heaven, he also having a sharp sickle. And another angel came out from the altar, which had power over fire; and cried with a loud cry to him that had the sharp sickle, saying, Thrust in thy sharp sickle, and gather the clusters of the vine of the earth; for her grapes are fully ripe. And the angel thrust in his sickle into the earth, and gathered the vine of the earth, and cast it into the great winepress of the wrath of God. And the winepress was trodden without the city, and blood came out of the winepress, even unto the horse bridles, by the space of a thousand and six hundred furlongs.
We also observe that the "First Parable" (Chapter 38 of 1 Enoch) seems to speak of Christ's Second Coming:
- 1 Enoch - Chapter 38 - When the congregation of the righteous shall appear, And sinners shall be judged for their sins, And shall be driven from the face of the earth: 2 And when the Righteous One shall appear before the eyes of the righteous, Whose elect works hang upon the Lord of Spirits, And light shall appear to the righteous and the elect who dwell on the earth, Where then will be the dwelling of the sinners, And where the resting-place of those who have denied the Lord of Spirits? It had been good for them if they had not been born.
- 3 When the secrets of the righteous shall be revealed and the sinners judged, And the godless driven from the presence of the righteous and elect, 4 From that time those that possess the earth shall no longer be powerful and exalted: And they shall not be able to behold the face of the holy, For the Lord of Spirits has caused His light to appear On the face of the holy, righteous, and elect.
- 5 Then shall the kings and the mighty perishAnd be given into the hands of the righteous and holy. 6 And thenceforward none shall seek for themselves mercy from the Lord of Spirits For their life is at an end.
I believe the Book of Revelation also speaks of the judgment of Daniel's 70th Week in great detail beginning with the Four Horsemen:
• Four Horsemen of Apocalypse
The Four Horsemen will be given one fourth of the world's population to kill with hunger, war, and death in the beginning of the 7 year tribulation period (Revelation 6:1-8). This is only four of the 21 judgments of the Book of Revelation (7 Seals, 7 Trumpets, 7 Vials).
It appears that Isaiah the Prophet also foretold this terrible day of vengeance which seems to closely parallel that of Matthew 24 which I believe is the judgment just before and during Daniel's 70th Week:
- Isaiah 13:6-22 KJV — Howl ye; for the day of the LORD is at hand; it shall come as a destruction from the Almighty. Therefore shall all hands be faint, and every man's heart shall melt: And they shall be afraid: pangs and sorrows shall take hold of them; they shall be in pain as a woman that travaileth: they shall be amazed one at another; their faces shall be as flames. Behold, the day of the LORD cometh, cruel both with wrath and fierce anger, to lay the land desolate: and he shall destroy the sinners thereof out of it. For the stars of heaven and the constellations thereof shall not give their light: the sun shall be darkened in his going forth, and the moon shall not cause her light to shine. And I will punish the world for their evil, and the wicked for their iniquity; and I will cause the arrogancy of the proud to cease, and will lay low the haughtiness of the terrible. I will make a man more precious than fine gold; even a man than the golden wedge of Ophir. Therefore I will shake the heavens, and the earth shall remove out of her place, in the wrath of the LORD of hosts, and in the day of his fierce anger. And it shall be as the chased roe, and as a sheep that no man taketh up: they shall every man turn to his own people, and flee every one into his own land. Every one that is found shall be thrust through; and every one that is joined unto them shall fall by the sword. Their children also shall be dashed to pieces before their eyes; their houses shall be spoiled, and their wives ravished. Behold, I will stir up the Medes against them, which shall not regard silver; and as for gold, they shall not delight in it. Their bows also shall dash the young men to pieces; and they shall have no pity on the fruit of the womb; their eye shall not spare children. And Babylon, the glory of kingdoms, the beauty of the Chaldees' excellency, shall be as when God overthrew Sodom and Gomorrah. It shall never be inhabited, neither shall it be dwelt in from generation to generation: neither shall the Arabian pitch tent there; neither shall the shepherds make their fold there. But wild beasts of the desert shall lie there; and their houses shall be full of doleful creatures; and owls shall dwell there, and satyrs shall dance there. And the wild beasts of the islands shall cry in their desolate houses, and dragons in their pleasant palaces: and her time is near to come, and her days shall not be prolonged.
* I am under the belief that the last days Babylon spoken of here is Mystery Babylon, the current superpower that is destroyed in one hour (see Revelation 18, Jeremiah 50-51). I believe that the USA is Mystery Babylon the great Harlot.

A New Heavens, A New Earth
- 2 Peter 3:3-14 KJV — Knowing this first, that there shall come in the last days scoffers, walking after their own lusts, And saying, Where is the promise of his coming? for since the fathers fell asleep, all things continue as they were from the beginning of the creation. For this they willingly are ignorant of, that by the word of God the heavens were of old, and the earth standing out of the water and in the water: Whereby the world that then was, being overflowed with water, perished: But the heavens and the earth, which are now, by the same word are kept in store, reserved unto fire against the day of judgment and perdition of ungodly men. But, beloved, be not ignorant of this one thing, that one day is with the Lord as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day. The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance. But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night; in the which the heavens shall pass away with a great noise, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat, the earth also and the works that are therein shall be burned up. Seeing then that all these things shall be dissolved, what manner of persons ought ye to be in all holy conversation and godliness, Looking for and hasting unto the coming of the day of God, wherein the heavens being on fire shall be dissolved, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat? Nevertheless we, according to his promise, look for new heavens and a new earth, wherein dwelleth righteousness. Wherefore, beloved, seeing that ye look for such things, be diligent that ye may be found of him in peace, without spot, and blameless.
We understand from Genesis, that the days of Noah were so evil that God YHVH flooded the entire world and saved only Noah and his family by means of the Ark. Jesus tells us in Matthew 24, that the day of the YHVH will come when the earth is as the days of Noah, and I believe that time is now. The rapture event (1 Corinthians 15:52), I believe is a type of boarding the Ark where the remnant of Christ will abide safely in Heaven for 7 years until the new flood of judgements are over.
- Matthew 24:35-42 KJV — Heaven and earth shall pass away, but my words shall not pass away. But of that day and hour knoweth no man, no, not the angels of heaven, but my Father only. But as the days of Noe were, so shall also the coming of the Son of man be. For as in the days that were before the flood they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day that Noe entered into the ark, And knew not until the flood came, and took them all away; so shall also the coming of the Son of man be. Then shall two be in the field; the one shall be taken, and the other left. Two women shall be grinding at the mill; the one shall be taken, and the other left. Watch therefore: for ye know not what hour your Lord doth come.
Jesus tells us two will be in the field and one taken, which seems to depict the rapture event of 1 Corinthians 15, where the dead in Christ and the remaining remnant are translated into heaven in an instant, before the terrible day of the Lord YHVH. Just as Lot and his family where spared from the fire and brimstone.
A scene similar to Matthew 24 was also written about by Isaiah in what some call the Little Apocalypse Book, which appears to speak of Daniel's 70th Week:
- Isaiah 24:17-23 KJV — Fear, and the pit, and the snare, are upon thee, O inhabitant of the earth. And it shall come to pass, that he who fleeth from the noise of the fear shall fall into the pit; and he that cometh up out of the midst of the pit shall be taken in the snare: for the windows from on high are open, and the foundations of the earth do shake. The earth is utterly broken down, the earth is clean dissolved, the earth is moved exceedingly. The earth shall reel to and fro like a drunkard, and shall be removed like a cottage; and the transgression thereof shall be heavy upon it; and it shall fall, and not rise again. And it shall come to pass in that day, that the LORD shall punish the host of the high ones that are on high, and the kings of the earth upon the earth. And they shall be gathered together, as prisoners are gathered in the pit, and shall be shut up in the prison, and after many days shall they be visited. Then the moon shall be confounded, and the sun ashamed, when the LORD of hosts shall reign in mount Zion, and in Jerusalem, and before his ancients gloriously.
We know that Jesus spoke this concerning His return after Daniel's 70th Week:
- Matthew 24:29-30 KJV — Immediately after the tribulation of those days shall the sun be darkened, and the moon shall not give her light, and the stars shall fall from heaven, and the powers of the heavens shall be shaken: And then shall appear the sign of the Son of man in heaven: and then shall all the tribes of the earth mourn, and they shall see the Son of man coming in the clouds of heaven with power and great glory.
This is another scripture portion that speaks of the sun being darkened, the moon to blood, the stars falling to the earth, and the heavens disappearing as a scroll being rolled up. This is during 7 year tribulation I believe:
- Revelation 6:12-17 KJV — And I beheld when he had opened the sixth seal, and, lo, there was a great earthquake; and the sun became black as sackcloth of hair, and the moon became as blood; And the stars of heaven fell unto the earth, even as a fig tree casteth her untimely figs, when she is shaken of a mighty wind. And the heaven departed as a scroll when it is rolled together; and every mountain and island were moved out of their places. And the kings of the earth, and the great men, and the rich men, and the chief captains, and the mighty men, and every bondman, and every free man, hid themselves in the dens and in the rocks of the mountains; And said to the mountains and rocks, Fall on us, and hide us from the face of him that sitteth on the throne, and from the wrath of the Lamb: For the great day of his wrath is come; and who shall be able to stand?
The Revelation 6 passage seems to be parallel to that of this Prophecy from Isaiah concerning the LORD's vengeance in Daniel's 70th Week:
- Isaiah 34:1-8 KJV — Come near, ye nations, to hear; and hearken, ye people: let the earth hear, and all that is therein; the world, and all things that come forth of it. For the indignation of the LORD is upon all nations, and his fury upon all their armies: he hath utterly destroyed them, he hath delivered them to the slaughter. Their slain also shall be cast out, and their stink shall come up out of their carcases, and the mountains shall be melted with their blood. And all the host of heaven shall be dissolved, and the heavens shall be rolled together as a scroll: and all their host shall fall down, as the leaf falleth off from the vine, and as a falling fig from the fig tree. For my sword shall be bathed in heaven: behold, it shall come down upon Idumea, and upon the people of my curse, to judgment. The sword of the LORD is filled with blood, it is made fat with fatness, and with the blood of lambs and goats, with the fat of the kidneys of rams: for the LORD hath a sacrifice in Bozrah, and a great slaughter in the land of Idumea. And the unicorns shall come down with them, and the bullocks with the bulls; and their land shall be soaked with blood, and their dust made fat with fatness. For it is the day of the LORD'S vengeance, and the year of recompences for the controversy of Zion.
In Revelation 20, after Jesus returns we see that the Devil is locked in the bottomless pit while Christ and the Millennial Kingdom reigns from Israel. It is then said that Satan is released after the 1000 years to try all the inhabitants of the earth, and then comes another final Gog Battle, and then Satan is cast in the Lake of Fire with the rest of the ungodly people who are judged at the White Throne Judgment:
- Revelation 20:7-15 KJV — And when the thousand years are expired, Satan shall be loosed out of his prison, And shall go out to deceive the nations which are in the four quarters of the earth, Gog and Magog, to gather them together to battle: the number of whom is as the sand of the sea. And they went up on the breadth of the earth, and compassed the camp of the saints about, and the beloved city: and fire came down from God out of heaven, and devoured them. And the devil that deceived them was cast into the lake of fire and brimstone, where the beast and the false prophet are, and shall be tormented day and night for ever and ever. And I saw a great white throne, and him that sat on it, from whose face the earth and the heaven fled away; and there was found no place for them. And I saw the dead, small and great, stand before God; and the books were opened: and another book was opened, which is the book of life: and the dead were judged out of those things which were written in the books, according to their works. And the sea gave up the dead which were in it; and death and hell delivered up the dead which were in them: and they were judged every man according to their works. And death and hell were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death. And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire.
Matthew 24 tells us the Sun and Moon will become dark and the stars will fall from Heaven before Jesus returns, yet I suspect that the Heavens and Earth will be dissolved with fervent heat after the Millennial Kingdom and final Gog battle. Yet, I am still studying this subject. The Book of Revelation, written by Apostle John, also speaks about a New Heaven and a New Earth, which is perhaps after the Millennial Kingdom and the Great White Throne Judgment:
- Revelation 21:1-8 KJV — And I saw a new heaven and a new earth: for the first heaven and the first earth were passed away; and there was no more sea. And I John saw the holy city, new Jerusalem, coming down from God out of heaven, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband. And I heard a great voice out of heaven saying, Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men, and he will dwell with them, and they shall be his people, and God himself shall be with them, and be their God. And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away. And he that sat upon the throne said, Behold, I make all things new. And he said unto me, Write: for these words are true and faithful. And he said unto me, It is done. I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end. I will give unto him that is athirst of the fountain of the water of life freely. He that overcometh shall inherit all things; and I will be his God, and he shall be my son. But the fearful, and unbelieving, and the abominable, and murderers, and whoremongers, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars, shall have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone: which is the second death.
We see below that Isaiah prophesied that a seed of Jacob, which Apostle Paul says in Galatians 3 refers to Christ Jesus and His followers either Jew or Gentile, will reside in the new Heavens and the New Earth:
- Isaiah 65:9-10 KJV — And I will bring forth a seed out of Jacob, and out of Judah an inheritor of my mountains: and mine elect shall inherit it, and my servants shall dwell there. And Sharon shall be a fold of flocks, and the valley of Achor a place for the herds to lie down in, for my people that have sought me.
I believe that Jesus will rule in Jerusalem in His Millennial Kingdom as Lord of Lords and King of Kings, yet this scripture seems to speak of the New Heavens and New Earth after the Millennial Kingdom:
- Isaiah 66:22-24 KJV — For as the new heavens and the new earth, which I will make, shall remain before me, saith the LORD, so shall your seed and your name remain. And it shall come to pass, that from one new moon to another, and from one sabbath to another, shall all flesh come to worship before me, saith the LORD. And they shall go forth, and look upon the carcases of the men that have transgressed against me: for their worm shall not die, neither shall their fire be quenched; and they shall be an abhorring unto all flesh.
It appears that the expression of a fire not being quenched and a worm dying not is speaking about hell and eternal torment, and was alluded to by Jesus which is the Second Death eternal judgment after the Great White Throne Judgment (See Revelation 20):
- Mark 9:43-48 KJV — And if thy hand offend thee, cut it off: it is better for thee to enter into life maimed, than having two hands to go into hell, into the fire that never shall be quenched: Where their worm dieth not, and the fire is not quenched. And if thy foot offend thee, cut it off: it is better for thee to enter halt into life, than having two feet to be cast into hell, into the fire that never shall be quenched: Where their worm dieth not, and the fire is not quenched. And if thine eye offend thee, pluck it out: it is better for thee to enter into the kingdom of God with one eye, than having two eyes to be cast into hell fire: Where their worm dieth not, and the fire is not quenched.
* It is possible that the Light of Christ serves as the new Sun in the Millennial Kingdom until after the 1000 year reign where there is a final Gog battle against Israel when Satan in loosed. Then the final Great White Throne Judgment and then the new Heavens and the New Earth? (See Revelation 20-22).
In the Extra-Biblical Book of 1st Enoch, which is quoted by Jude in the New Testament and substantiated by the Dead Sea Scrolls, it appears as though Enoch saw what comes after the Great White Thrown Judgment. The text describes the world after the angels are cast into the Lake of Fire, which appears to be after the Millennial Kingdom according to Revelation 20:
- 1 Enoch Chapter X - 1. Then said the Most High, the Holy and Great One spake, and sent Uriel to the son of Lamech, and said to him: 2. ' Go to Noah and tell him in my name "Hide thyself!" and reveal to him the end that is approaching: that the whole earth will be destroyed, and a deluge is about to come upon the whole earth, and will destroy all that is on it. 3. And now instruct him that he may escape and his seed may be preserved for all the generations of the world.' 4. And again the Lord said to Raphael: 'Bind Azâzêl hand and foot, and cast him into the darkness: and make an opening in the desert, which is in Dûdâêl, and cast him therein. 5. And place upon him rough and jagged rocks, and cover him with darkness, and let him abide there for ever, and cover his face that he may not see light.
- 6. And on the day of the great judgement he shall be cast into the fire. And heal the earth which the angels have corrupted, and proclaim the healing of the earth, that they may heal the plague, and that all the children of men may not perish through all the secret things that the Watchers have disclosed and have taught their sons. 8. And the whole earth has been corrupted through the works that were taught by Azâzêl: to him ascribe all sin.'
- 9. And to Gabriel said the Lord: 'Proceed against the bastards and the reprobates, and against the children of fornication: and destroy [the children of fornication and] the children of the Watchers from amongst men [and cause them to go forth]: send them one against the other that they may destroy each other in battle: for length of days shall they not have. 10. And no request that they (i.e. their fathers) make of thee shall be granted unto their fathers on their behalf; for they hope to live an eternal life, and that each one of them will live five hundred years.'
- 11. And the Lord said unto Michael: 'Go, bind Semjâzâ and his associates who have united themselves with women so as to have defiled themselves with them in all their uncleanness. 12. And when their sons have slain one another, and they have seen the destruction of their beloved ones, bind them fast for seventy generations in the valleys of the earth, till the day of their judgement and of their consummation, till the judgement that is for ever and ever is consummated.
We can observe that Enoch X, verses 1-12, speaks of the judgment against the fallen angels before the flood and that they were to be locked in the pit until the end of judgment is decreed forever upon them, which I believe is in Revelation 20 after Christ's Millennial Kingdom. We then see that the angels that were bound will then be cast into the lake of fire, including the spirits of the Giants and the existing Nephilim I assume, and the earth is then tilled in righteousness:
- 1 Enoch Chapter X-13. In those days they shall be led off to the abyss of fire: and to the torment and the prison in which they shall be confined for ever. And whosoever shall be condemned and destroyed will from thenceforth be bound together with them to the end of all generations. 15. And destroy all the spirits of the reprobate and the children of the Watchers, because they have wronged mankind. Destroy all wrong from the face of the earth and let every evil work come to an end: and let the plant of righteousness and truth appear: and it shall prove a blessing; the works of righteousness and truth shall be planted in truth and joy for evermore.
- 17. And then shall all the righteous escape, And shall live till they beget thousands of children, And all the days of their youth and their old age Shall they complete in peace. 18 And then shall the whole earth be tilled in righteousness, and shall all be planted with trees and be full of blessing. 19. And all desirable trees shall be planted on it, and they shall plant vines on it: and the vine which they plant thereon shall yield wine in abundance, and as for all the seed which is sown thereon each measure (of it) shall bear a thousand, and each measure of olives shall yield ten presses of oil. 20. And cleanse thou the earth from all oppression, and from all unrighteousness, and from all sin, and from all godlessness: and all the uncleanness that is wrought upon the earth destroy from off the earth. 21. And all the children of men shall become righteous, and all nations shall offer adoration and shall praise Me, and all shall worship Me. And the earth shall be cleansed from all defilement, and from all sin, and from all punishment, and from all torment, and I will never again send (them) upon it from generation to generation and for ever.
- 1 Enoch Chapter XI - 1. And in those days I will open the store chambers of blessing which are in the heaven, so as to send them down upon the earth over the work and labour of the children of men. 2. And truth and peace shall be associated together throughout all the days of the world and throughout all the generations of men.'
Ezekiel's Unbuilt Temple Vision
It is said that the temple plans spoken of by Ezekiel in Chapters 40-48 have not yet come to fruition, meaning it has not yet been built. What is interesting is that this scripture has been placed after the prophecy of Gog of MaGog and Battle of Armageddon in Ezekiel 38-39. This leads me to believe this could be the Temple Blueprints for the Millennial Kingdom of Christ in Israel after Daniel's 70th week!
- Ezekiel 40:1-5 KJV — In the five and twentieth year of our captivity, in the beginning of the year, in the tenth day of the month, in the fourteenth year after that the city was smitten, in the selfsame day the hand of the LORD was upon me, and brought me thither. In the visions of God brought he me into the land of Israel, and set me upon a very high mountain, by which was as the frame of a city on the south. And he brought me thither, and, behold, there was a man, whose appearance was like the appearance of brass, with a line of flax in his hand, and a measuring reed; and he stood in the gate. And the man said unto me, Son of man, behold with thine eyes, and hear with thine ears, and set thine heart upon all that I shall shew thee; for to the intent that I might shew them unto thee art thou brought hither: declare all that thou seest to the house of Israel. And behold a wall on the outside of the house round about, and in the man's hand a measuring reed of six cubits long by the cubit and an hand breadth: so he measured the breadth of the building, one reed; and the height, one reed.
One interesting point is that Ezekiel's Temple Blueprints seems to have an Outer Court with specific measurements, yet the Revelation 11 Temple was commanded to leave the outer court for the Gentiles to trample under foot for 42 months, which I believe is for Daniel's 70th Week after the Abomination of Desolation by the AntiChrist (Matthew 24:15-21, 2 Thessalonians 2:3-4). In addition, it appears the following verses indicate Ezekiel's Temple includes the Throne of Christ when He rules in Jerusalem (Zechariah 14), as well as a restored Levitical and Zadok Priesthood with animal sacrifices and meat offerings:
- Ezekiel 43:1-9 KJV — Afterward he brought me to the gate, even the gate that looketh toward the east: And, behold, the glory of the God of Israel came from the way of the east: and his voice was like a noise of many waters: and the earth shined with his glory. And it was according to the appearance of the vision which I saw, even according to the vision that I saw when I came to destroy the city: and the visions were like the vision that I saw by the river Chebar; and I fell upon my face. And the glory of the LORD came into the house by the way of the gate whose prospect is toward the east. So the spirit took me up, and brought me into the inner court; and, behold, the glory of the LORD filled the house. And I heard him speaking unto me out of the house; and the man stood by me. And he said unto me, Son of man, the place of my throne, and the place of the soles of my feet, where I will dwell in the midst of the children of Israel for ever, and my holy name, shall the house of Israel no more defile, neither they, nor their kings, by their whoredom, nor by the carcases of their kings in their high places. In their setting of their threshold by my thresholds, and their post by my posts, and the wall between me and them, they have even defiled my holy name by their abominations that they have committed: wherefore I have consumed them in mine anger. Now let them put away their whoredom, and the carcases of their kings, far from me, and I will dwell in the midst of them for ever.
We also see in the below scriptures that it appears that because of the pure waters of the new Temple, the Dead Sea will be revived and the leaves of the trees will be for healing. This is most likely a literal prophecy but also possibly a metaphor for Christ's Kingdom bringing revival and life to the once blinded and sinful nations:
- Ezekiel 47:12 KJV — And by the river upon the bank thereof, on this side and on that side, shall grow all trees for meat, whose leaf shall not fade, neither shall the fruit thereof be consumed: it shall bring forth new fruit according to his months, because their waters they issued out of the sanctuary: and the fruit thereof shall be for meat, and the leaf thereof for medicine.
The Prophet Zechariah speaks of this same thing, in my opinion, when Christ rules in Jerusalem:
- Zechariah 14:6-9 KJV — And it shall come to pass in that day, that the light shall not be clear, nor dark: But it shall be one day which shall be known to the LORD, not day, nor night: but it shall come to pass, that at evening time it shall be light. And it shall be in that day, that living waters shall go out from Jerusalem; half of them toward the former sea, and half of them toward the hinder sea: in summer and in winter shall it be. And the LORD shall be king over all the earth: in that day shall there be one LORD, and his name one.
This scripture seems quite similar but I am not sure if it speaking of the Millennial Kingdom or afterwards when death and hell will be cast into the Lake of Fire (Revelation 20):
- Revelation 22:1-10 KJV — And he shewed me a pure river of water of life, clear as crystal, proceeding out of the throne of God and of the Lamb. In the midst of the street of it, and on either side of the river, was there the tree of life, which bare twelve manner of fruits, and yielded her fruit every month: and the leaves of the tree were for the healing of the nations. And there shall be no more curse: but the throne of God and of the Lamb shall be in it; and his servants shall serve him: And they shall see his face; and his name shall be in their foreheads. And there shall be no night there; and they need no candle, neither light of the sun; for the Lord God giveth them light: and they shall reign for ever and ever. And he said unto me, These sayings are faithful and true: and the Lord God of the holy prophets sent his angel to shew unto his servants the things which must shortly be done. Behold, I come quickly: blessed is he that keepeth the sayings of the prophecy of this book. And I John saw these things, and heard them. And when I had heard and seen, I fell down to worship before the feet of the angel which shewed me these things. Then saith he unto me, See thou do it not: for I am thy fellowservant, and of thy brethren the prophets, and of them which keep the sayings of this book: worship God. And he saith unto me, Seal not the sayings of the prophecy of this book: for the time is at hand.
The Millennial Kingdom
Accoeding to Jesus Himself, immediately after the tribulation, Jesus will return with His saints to establish the Millennial Kingdom on earth:
- Matthew 24:29-30 KJV - Immediatelyafter the tribulation of those days shall the sun be darkened, and the moon shall not give her light, and the stars shall fall from heaven, and the powers of the heavens shall be shaken: [30] And then shall appear the sign of the Son of man in heaven: and then shall all the tribes of the earth mourn, and they shall see the Son of man coming in the clouds of heaven with power and great glory.
A parallel prophecy is seen here:
- Jude 1:14-15 KJV — And Enoch also, the seventh from Adam, prophesied of these, saying, Behold, the Lord cometh with ten thousands of his saints, To execute judgment upon all, and to convince all that are ungodly among them of all their ungodly deeds which they have ungodly committed, and of all their hard speeches which ungodly sinners have spoken against him.
This prophecy of old indicates that the Messiah (Jesus) will have an everlasting Kingdom and ultimately Christ will rule and reign on the throne of King David in Jerusalem for 1000 years:
- Isaiah 9:6-7 KJV — For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace. Of the increase of his government and peace there shall be no end, upon the throne of David, and upon his kingdom, to order it, and to establish it with judgment and with justice from henceforth even for ever. The zeal of the LORD of hosts will perform this.
This prophecy indicates that after the final Beast Government (New World Order - Man of Sin) is destroyed and Christ returns to earth, His Kingdom will be established, this I believe is the Millinneal Kingdom:
- Daniel 7:13-14 KJV — I saw in the night visions, and, behold, one like the Son of man came with the clouds of heaven, and came to the Ancient of days, and they brought him near before him. And there was given him dominion, and glory, and a kingdom, that all people, nations, and languages, should serve him: his dominion is an everlasting dominion, which shall not pass away, and his kingdom that which shall not be destroyed.
* This age of Grace currently is a time of preparation for His Kingdom, a harvest of souls until Jesus returns. The Kingdom is within us at the moment because we are in His Spirit in earth while Christ is in Heaven.
The Man of Sin (AntiChrist Obama) will rule for a short while until he is destroyed and Jesus comes with His Saints to rule over all nations:
- Daniel 7:25-27 KJV — And he (Man of Sin - 2 Thess 2) shall speak great words against the most High, and shall wear out the saints of the most High, and think to change times and laws: and they shall be given into his hand until a time and times and the dividing of time. But the judgment shall sit, and they shall take away his dominion, to consume and to destroy it unto the end. And the kingdom and dominion, and the greatness of the kingdom under the whole heaven, shall be given to the people of the saints of the most High, whose kingdom is an everlasting kingdom, and all dominions shall serve and obey him.
* When Jesus returns, Satan is bound and cast into the Bottomless Pit (Revelation 20).
When Christ returns and defeats the AntiChrist at the Battle of Armageddon then the tribulation Saints who died for not accepting the Beast, nor his system, nor image, nor his mark, will be added to the Kingdom:
- Revelation 20:4 KJV — And I saw thrones, and they sat upon them, and judgment was given unto them: and I saw the souls of them that were beheaded for the witness of Jesus, and for the word of God, and which had not worshipped the beast, neither his image, neither had received his mark upon their foreheads, or in their hands; and they lived and reigned with Christ a thousand years (Millineal Reign).
- Isaiah 11:1-10 KJV — And there shall come forth a rod out of the stem of Jesse, and a Branch shall grow out of his roots: And the spirit of the LORD shall rest upon him, the spirit of wisdom and understanding, the spirit of counsel and might, the spirit of knowledge and of the fear of the LORD; And shall make him of quick understanding in the fear of the LORD: and he shall not judge after the sight of his eyes, neither reprove after the hearing of his ears: But with righteousness shall he judge the poor, and reprove with equity for the meek of the earth: and he shall smite the earth with the rod of his mouth, and with the breath of his lips shall he slay the wicked. And righteousness shall be the girdle of his loins, and faithfulness the girdle of his reins. The wolf also shall dwell with the lamb, and the leopard shall lie down with the kid; and the calf and the young lion and the fatling together; and a little child shall lead them. And the cow and the bear shall feed; their young ones shall lie down together: and the lion shall eat straw like the ox. And the sucking child shall play on the hole of the asp, and the weaned child shall put his hand on the cockatrice' den. They shall not hurt nor destroy in all my holy mountain: for the earth shall be full of the knowledge of the LORD, as the waters cover the sea. And in that day there shall be a root of Jesse, which shall stand for an ensign of the people; to it shall the Gentiles seek: and his rest shall be glorious.
- Micah 4:1-8 KJV — But in the last days it shall come to pass, that the mountain of the house of the LORD shall be established in the top of the mountains, and it shall be exalted above the hills; and people shall flow unto it. And many nations shall come, and say, Come, and let us go up to the mountain of the LORD, and to the house of the God of Jacob; and he will teach us of his ways, and we will walk in his paths: for the law shall go forth of Zion, and the word of the LORD from Jerusalem. And he shall judge among many people, and rebuke strong nations afar off; and they shall beat their swords into plowshares, and their spears into pruninghooks: nation shall not lift up a sword against nation, neither shall they learn war any more. But they shall sit every man under his vine and under his fig tree; and none shall make them afraid: for the mouth of the LORD of hosts hath spoken it. For all people will walk every one in the name of his god, and we will walk in the name of the LORD our God for ever and ever. In that day, saith the LORD, will I assemble her that halteth, and I will gather her that is driven out, and her that I have afflicted; And I will make her that halted a remnant, and her that was cast far off a strong nation: and the LORD shall reign over them in mount Zion from henceforth, even for ever. And thou, O tower of the flock, the strong hold of the daughter of Zion, unto thee shall it come, even the first dominion; the kingdom shall come to the daughter of Jerusalem.
These verses shows that the true born again Christians will judge the angels and be Priests and Kings with Christ in His Kingdom on earth:
- Revelation 1:6 KJV — And hath made us (faithful Christians) kings and priests unto God and his Father; to him be glory and dominion for ever and ever. Amen.
- Revelation 5:10 KJV — And hast made us unto our God kings and priests: and we shall reign on the earth.
* Apostle Paul even revealed this to the early church in an epistle:
- 1 Corinthians 6:3 KJV — Know ye not that we shall judge angels? how much more things that pertain to this life?
The Man-Child
In Revelation 12:5, it tells us of a certain Man-Child who is caught up (raptured) to Heaven and given a rod of iron to rule the nations just before Satan is cast down for Daniel's 70th week. It appears this Man-Child is the Church who will reign and rule with Christ:
- Revelation 2:25-29 KJV — But that which ye have already hold fast till I come. And he that overcometh, and keepeth my works unto the end, to him will I give power over the nations: And he shall rule them with a rod of iron; as the vessels of a potter shall they be broken to shivers: even as I received of my Father. And I will give him the morning star. He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches.
I believe those Christians who are eligible for the pre-tribulation rapture will recieve their incorruptible bodies along with the dead in Christ:
- 1 Corinthians 15:52-53 KJV — In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed. For this corruptible must put on incorruption, and this mortal must put on immortality.
The Third Day Prophecy?
Just as Moses brought the Children of Abraham up to God's earthly mountain on the third literal day, I suppose Jesus will bring the Children of the New Covenant (Christians) up to God's holy mountain on the morning of the third prophetic day, or perhaps when God's Holy Mountain comes to earth (Revelation 19-20) to meet the remnant of Israel and the resurrected Tribulation Saints.
Before Moses recieved the law at Sinai, we see in the below passage that Moses was told to first sanctify (clean) the children of Israel for two days, and then the LORD would meet them on THE THIRD DAY.
- Exodus 19:10-11 KJV - And the Lord said unto Moses, Go unto the people, and sanctify them to day and to morrow, and let them wash their clothes, [11] And be ready against the third day: for the third day the Lord will come down in the sight of all the people upon mount Sinai.
We know from the second book of Peter, that one day can be seen as a thousand years. Perhaps this was a clue to understanding the hidden or hard to see prophecy of THE THIRD DAY.
- 2 Peter 3:8-9 KJV - But, beloved, be not ignorant of this one thing, that one day is with the Lord as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day. [9] The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance.
The third day could be the start of the third century (New Covenant Began 27-33 AD) from the time Jesus shed His blood on the cross and sanctified us with His word until now.
This start of the Third Century could be anywhere from 2027-2033 AD I suppose.
- Hosea 6:2 KJV - After two days will he revive us: in the third day he will raise us up, and we shall live in his sight.
According to this Christian article (Click Here), Jesus was Crucified in April 27 AD, which in my opinion is quite possible as Passover is usually March or April.
• April 27-33 AD - First Day Began
• April 1027-1033 AD - Second Day Began
• April 2027- 2033 AD - Millennial Kingdom Begins?
If Jesus was Crucified in 27 AD, then that means the Second Day (2 Thousand Years) would be complete in 2027, which falls closely in line with the below the Fig Tree Generation timeline as well. This ofcourse would be after the 7 year Tribulation, so that means Jesus would return by April 2027, with a perhaps maximum return date of April 2033. Although it would have to be 2028 considering the 7 year tribulation must be completed before Jesus' return.
A 70 to 80 Year Generation?
Jesus Himself told us that the generation who sees the signs of Matthew 24, Luke 21, including the Parabel of the Fig Tree will not pass till all things are fulfilled:
In April 2018, Jerusalem celebrated their their 70th year anniversary after having been scattered abroad for nearly 2000 years and have returned. In Psalm 90:10, it is said 70-80 years may be considered a ”generation”.
- Matthew 24:32-34 KJV - Now learn a parable of the fig tree; When his branch is yet tender, and putteth forth leaves, ye know that summer is nigh: [33] So likewise ye, when ye shall see all these things, know that it is near, even at the doors. [34] Verily I say unto you, This generation shall not pass, till all these things be fulfilled.
Most Bible Scholars would agree that Israel is the Fig Tree who has been replanted in their land in May of 1948 for the coming forth of Daniel's 70th Week which appears will begin at any moment.
• May 1948 - Israel Replanted
• May 2018 - 70 Years as Nation
• May 2028 - 80 Years as Nation
It appears that the Fig Tree Generation would not end until Israel's 80th year is completed when Israel turns 81 on May 14, 2029. Therefore, it seems the 7 year tribulation (Daniel 9:27) should begin by May 14, 2022, for all things to be completed that Jesus talked about in Matthew 24. This is of course if Jesus was hinting at the Psalms 90:10 generation for Israel in the last days, which is a generation of 70-80 years if by reason of strength. After the travail of Zion in Daniel's 70th Week, the labour day, then a Man-Child will come forth and rule all nations with a Rod of Iron which ofcourse speaks of Jesus returning to Jerusalem and establishing His 1000 Year Kingdom with the body of Christ and old Testament saints (Zech. 14, Revelation 19-20, Enoch 1, Psalms 2).
This means that the Pre-Tribulation rapture (1 Corinthians 15:52) is MOMENTS away including the great deception that comes upon the entire world (2 Thessalonians 2), and the revealing of the AntiChrist and his One World Order (Revelation 13-14).
Israel the Fig Tree is soon to see Daniel's 70th week and Jesus' return. Please note these are theoretical years, as I do not know when the count began for sure, and if God is using the Hebrew calendar or solar calendar regarding this prophecy.
Seeing now that Israel is the Fig Tree and that the Fig Tree generation shall not pass until all things are fulfilled, we should be alarmed to know that we are that generation and Daniel's 70th week is soon to begin! This is the first time in 2000 years that Israel is back in the land and the conditions are aligned to bring forth the Third Temple, Daily Sacrifices, and the Daniel 9:27 Peace Deal with the AntiChrist:
A Sudden Catching Up
Various Christian dreams, visions, and prophetic messages indicate that as the bomb's come down, the Christian remnant will go up in the rapture (1 Corinthians 15:50):

It seems this scripture passage specifically is referring to the rapture of the Church and not the Second Coming of Jesus:
- Matthew 24:36-42 KJV - But of that day and hour knoweth no man, no, not the angels of heaven, but my Father only. [37] But as the days of Noe (Noah) were, so shall also the coming of the Son of man be. [38] For as in the days that were before the flood they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day that Noe entered into the ark, [39] And knew not until the flood came, and took them all away; so shall also the coming of the Son of man be. [40] Then shall two be in the field; the one shall be taken, and the other left. [41] Two women shall be grinding at the mill; the one shall be taken, and the other left. [42] Watch therefore: for ye know not what hour your Lord doth come.
Some people say the word "taken" is referring to being killed, but that does not match the Noah narrative because with the flood all perished and none remained alive but Noah and his family. This passage tells us that two will be in the field and the other left, which matches the instant catching away spoken of in this passage regarding the rapture (the catching up rapture by Jesus Christ):
- 1 Corinthians 15:52-53 KJV - In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed. [53] For this corruptible must put on incorruption, and this mortal must put on immortality.

- Luke 17:26-30 KJV - And as it was in the days of Noe, so shall it be also in the days of the Son of man. [27] They did eat, they drank, they married wives, they were given in marriage, until the day that Noe entered into the ark, and the flood came, and destroyed them all. [28] Likewise also as it was in the days of Lot; they did eat, they drank, they bought, they sold, they planted, they builded; [29] But the same day that Lot went out of Sodom it rained fire and brimstone from heaven, and destroyed them all. [30] Even thus shall it be in the day when the Son of man is revealed.
This seems to indicate that just like Noah and Lot, God will save His remnant, His sanctified and faithful ones that believe in Jesus as LORD and savior, from the flood of judgment that will come upon the entire world. In an instant, we will be changed and caught up to Heaven before the day of judgment. This seems to match this Biblical passage as well:
- Revelation 3:10-11 KJV - Because thou hast kept the word of my patience, I also will keep thee from the hour of temptation, which shall come upon all the world, to try them that dwell upon the earth. [11] Behold, I come quickly: hold that fast which thou hast, that no man take thy crown.
• The Rapture vs The Return

Rapture is a state or experience of being carried away. The English word comes from a Latin word, rapio, which means to seize or snatch in relation to an ecstasy of spirit or the actual removal from one place to another. In other words, it means to be carried away in spirit or in body. The Rapture of the church means the carrying away of the church from earth to heaven.
The Greek word from this term “rapture” is derived from 1 Thessalonians 4:17, which uses the translated word for the rapture as “caught up.” The Latin translation of this verse and phrase "caught up" used the word rapturo. The Greek word that "rapturo" was translated to is "harpazo," which means to snatch or take away. Elsewhere this rapture word is used to describe how the Spirit caught up Philip near Gaza and brought him to Caesarea (Acts 8:39) and to describe Paul’s experience of being caught up into the third heaven (2 Cor. 12:2-4). Thus there can be no doubt that the word is used in 1 Thessalonians 4:17 to indicate the actual removal of people from earth to heaven.
1611 KJV Apocrypha - Rapture
It appears the KJV Apocryphal Book of 2nd Esdras speaks of the tribulation period, and the rapture. It is said this was written by Ezra the Scribe of the Old Testament:

• Unplug
I hear a lot about what will happen with Yahweh's Chosen people of Isreal but not much about the other people like me, I'm from the USA, I am not Jewish or Chosen, Also I'm a new Christian, can someone please explain what will happen to me and my family? I'm not sure where I fit into Yahweh's plan in the End.
