3 Days of Darkness
It has been going around the prophetic Christian community that there will be 3 days of literal and spiritual darkness around the time of the 7 year Tribulation period start time.
This idea is disputed by some watchmen and pastors, but I will give you some various dreams/visions and prophetic words that expound upon this subject and you discern for yourself and prepare accordingly, spiritually or physically.
• EMP Blackout
In the Old Testament, God YHVH commanded Moses to send the plague of darkness upon Egypt for three days. This plague was right before the Passover plague where the angel took the firstborn of all the houses of Egypt and all who did not have the blood of the Lamb on the doorpost of their house:
Exodus 10:21-23 KJV - And the Lord said unto Moses, Stretch out thine hand toward heaven, that there may be darkness over the land of Egypt, even darkness which may be felt. [22] And Moses stretched forth his hand toward heaven; and there was a thick darkness in all the land of Egypt three days: [23] They saw not one another, neither rose any from his place for three days: but all the children of Israel had light in their dwellings.
It seems the three days of darkness happened just prior to Passover, which ofcourse was a shadow of Jesus dying for our sins as the sinless lamb of God, and going into sheol (heart of the earth) to preach to the spirits in prison for three days. It is interesting to know Jesus also was crucified on Passover:
John 19:14-18 KJV - And it was the preparation of the passover, and about the sixth hour: and he saith unto the Jews, Behold your King! [15] But they cried out, Away with him, away with him, crucify him. Pilate saith unto them, Shall I crucify your King? The chief priests answered, We have no king but Caesar. [16] Then delivered he him therefore unto them to be crucified. And they took Jesus, and led him away. [17] And he bearing his cross went forth into a place called the place of a skull, which is called in the Hebrew Golgotha: [18] Where they crucified him, and two other with him, on either side one, and Jesus in the midst.
Is it possible that the 3 Days of Darkness will happen again as we see today many of the 10 plagues of Egypt are coming upon the world today? Blood red rivers and lakes all over the world, locust swarms, animal diseases, and more! Will the new Exodus, that is to say the rapture of the remnant Christians (Revelation 3:10), also happen around that time? Will it be the final sign to the world that Jesus is God and the Bible is true before the judgments of Daniel's 70th week comes?
Even if the 3 days of darkness happens prior to the rapture of the church, which I dont think will happen, we can feel assured that the LORD will keep us safe in our houses as He did with the Children of Abraham in the Land of Goshen!
3 Days - Jonah In the Whale's Belly

I will attempt to explain why, and it is mostly by the words of Jesus Himself (God in the flesh):
Matthew 12:38-41 KJV - Then certain of the scribes and of the Pharisees answered, saying, Master, we would see a sign from thee. [39] But he (Jesus) answered and said unto them, An evil and adulterous generation seeketh after a sign; and there shall no sign be given to it, but the sign of the prophet Jonas (Jonah): [40] For as Jonas was three days and three nights in the whale's belly; so shall the Son of man be three days and three nights in the heart of the earth. [41] The men of Nineveh shall rise in judgment with this generation, and shall condemn it: because they repented at the preaching of Jonas; and, behold, a greater than Jonas is here.
Jesus was not only prophesying about His own death, 3 days in the tomb, and His resurrection, but He is also telling us an important detail of the New Covenant through Christ Jesus and the shedding of His blood for our sins as being the sign to a wicked generation. He was in the darkness of Sheol for THREE DAYS.
One may ask, what is the sign of Jonah, and how does that relate to Jesus? If you study the Book of Jonah in the Bible, it says he was cast overboard after fleeing from God's command to warn Ninevah. In the process, God sent a storm to Jonah and the ship crew members where afraid of God and threw him overboard, only to be swallowed by a great fish (whale). After Jonah repents and God gives him a second chance, God caused the whale to spew Jonah up to preach on the dry land and warn Ninevah of the impending judgment (Read Jonah 2-3).
Likewise, after Jesus was in the tomb for three days and nights, He rose from the dead just as Jonah was in the belly of the whale THREE DAYS and then spewed out of the mouth of the whale and was a sign for all round about!
If there is another Three Days of Darkness around the time of the start of the Tribulation period, than I suppose it would be a sign to the world that God YHVH is sending the judgment and it is not just global warming or some other idea.

Three Days of Darkness is Next
7/28/2020 - I was in and out of sleep around 4 am, and it was as if I was typing up an article online in my dream, and I began to read some of the text that was written while being half awake. I began to read something like "you are about to see the wedding in Heaven." Being in the half awake stage, I wondered if that was from the Holy Spirit and speaking of the Wedding Supper of the Lamb and the rapture (1 Corinthians 15:52, Revelation 19). Then I read another block of text and it said "three days of darkness is next." The words startled me and I awoke out of my sleep immediately with my heart beating fast.
This was not my normal flash vision or dream according to Acts 2:17, that I usually recieve from the LORD. Yet, I thought I should document it just incase it was truly from the LORD.
There are many people having dreams and visions that the rapture is imminent, and many have had prophetic dreams and visions of another three days of darkness similar to the plague of Egypt sent by Moses in Exodus. I was always skeptical of another three days of darkness, but now I'm beginning to believe it could be next.

The three days of darkness was the plague just before the Passover, where the Children of Abraham were brought out of Egypt which is a type and shadow of the rapture of the church by those under the blood of Christ who walk in obedience to His commands from my understanding. We see today many of the 10 plagues of Egypt are appearing these last days as Birthpains - blood red water, locust swarms, animal diseases, and more. Perhaps the 3 Days of Darkness will be blamed on a Solar Flare CME or an EMP attack?
Shalom in Yeshua Jesus. I confess that Yeshua Jesus is the Messiah who has come in the flesh, and died for our sins, and rose again three days later (Isaiah 9:6, Isaiah 7:14, Isaiah 53, Isaiah 26:19).

On Sunday 4-7-19 the Lord began to give me a revelation in the scripture about the transformation of His remnant/bride that I was to share with the small group that meets in my home on Monday nights. In my time alone with the Lord this morning (4-10-19) He let me know that He wanted me to speak for Him on my blogs about this and about the 3 days of darkness. Although there has been much said about this in the prophetic community right now, not all of it is His truth.
This is what the Lord is saying to me :
My son, I want you to speak to My people because the enemy has brought confusion and mixture to My remnant/bride. Once again My people are not discerning My voice correctly. The 3 days of darkness will indeed happen again. I will tell you about this so that you do not fear now or when it happens.
Understand My word “What is happening now has happened before, and what will happen in the future has happened before, because God makes the same things happen over and over again.”( Ecc 3:15 NLT) and I said it again here, “For God [does reveal His will; He] speaks not only once, but more than once, even though men do not regard it”(Job 33:14 AMPC) Also all of you need to remember this verse “Jesus Christ (Yahshua ha Mashiach) is the same yesterday, today, and forever.” (Heb. 13:8) I do what I have done in the past again and again because it is how I operate and it is part of who I am. The better that you get to know Me the more you will understand this fact.
The three days of darkness will happen again just as it did during the time that My people Israel were held captive in Egypt. “Then the Lord said to Moses, “Stretch out your hand toward the sky, so that darkness may come over the land of Egypt, a darkness which [is so awful that it] may be felt.” So Moses stretched out his hand toward the sky, and for three days a thick darkness was all over the land of Egypt [no sun, no moon, no stars]. The Egyptians could not see one another, nor did anyone leave his place for three days, but all the Israelites had [supernatural] light in their dwellings.” (Ex. 10:21-23 AMPC)
My people will have light in their dwellings during the coming 3 days of darkness as well. My people will not need candles! There is no need to fear in My people! I will protect those who are mine! Candles will be needed by those who do not know Me. Those who do not know Me will be in great fear because they will not understand what is happening. If there are unbelievers in your household offer to pray with them and encourage them to seek Me and surrender to Me and I will save them. “Come, my people, enter your chambers, and shut your doors behind you. Hide yourself, as it were, for a little moment,

Covering your windows will help prevent fear of the things happening outside, especially for unbelievers and children, but this will not protect you, I WILL! The darkness will be both physical and spiritual and there will be evil entities outside of your dwelling but do not fear. The movie “Bird Box” was made to cause fear, the enemy loves fear. Unbelievers do not have any power over this darkness, just like in the movie but My own do. If you know Me and have on your spiritual armor of light the evil and darkness will not harm you. “For we(you) do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this age, against spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places. Therefore take up the whole armor of God, that you may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand.”(Eph 6:12-13 NKJV)
The sign of Jonah was a sign to those who witnessed My first coming and to those who will witness My second coming. “Then some of the scribes and Pharisees answered, saying, “Teacher, we want to see a sign from You.” But He answered and said to them, “An evil and adulterous generation seeks after a sign, and no sign will be given to it except the sign of the prophet Jonah. For as Jonah was three days and three nights in the belly of the great fish, so will the Son of Man be three days and three nights in the heart of the earth.”
Just as Jonah and I experienced 3 days of darkness so will this wicked generation. These days of darkness will be caused by the “destroyer of nations”(Jer. 4:7) or what is now called Nibiru or Planet X. This is My instrument of judgment that I have used again and again. This time will be the harshest ever.

This generation will see My return but before that they will be given 40 days to repent just as Nineveh was, which is the same amount of time that I walked the earth after My resurrection from the dead. First the dead shall rise and then My remnant/bride will be transformed. (Dan. 12:2-3, Matt. 27:52-53, 1 Cor. 15:51-52, 1 Thess. 4:15-17, Isa. 60:1-5) Out of the gross, thick darkness they will arise and shine! Those who are transformed will be given 40 days to bring in the end time harvest and share Me with all that will listen. They will be overflowing with My power glowing with My glory. This will be the time of the “greater works”. No one will stop them! No man, no weapon, no sickness, no demon, no giant, no angel, no beast and not even Satan himself! For they will have an anointing without measure. After their work is done then I shall take them to be with Me forever and they will sing to Me in their brightest white robes that have been washed in My blood,“Amen! Blessing and glory and wisdom, thanksgiving and honor and power and might, be to our God forever and ever. Amen.” (Rev 7:12 NKJV)
My people, I tell you now stop concentrating on the darkness and focus on The Light! I AM THE LIGHT! Your fear comes from the fact that you know you are living in sin. Put away your deeds of darkness and clothe yourselves with My robe of righteousness. Cry out to Me now and I will help you overcome your sin, I NEVER asked you to do it alone. I hate self-righteousness! ASK ME TO HELP YOU AND I WILL! I gave My life so that you could have it and have it more abundantly. Receive all that My Spirit has for you! I want you to swim in the ocean My Spirit! That’s how much I have for you!
The transformation is coming sooner than most think because they are concerned with the things of this world. Do not be one of those whose hearts fail them for fear of the things they see coming upon the earth. The darkness is only a small part of that which is coming. Be transformed daily by My Spirit and I will finish the work that I have begun in you at the appointed time.
(1 John 3:2-3 NKJV) “Beloved, now we are children of God; and it has not yet been revealed what we shall be, but we know that when He is revealed, we shall be like Him, for we shall see Him as He is. And everyone who has this hope in Him purifies himself, just as He is pure.”

While praying on January 16th, 2019, I saw the LORD JESUS sitting on a white, marble bench, high on top of a mountain. HE was looking out over a huge city that I believe could have been New York City. As I looked closer, I saw that HE was wearing a black sash across HIS brilliant, white tunic. This is only the second time I have ever seen HIS black sash, which represents ‘death.’
As I looked out at the city below, I noticed that the beautiful day quickly turned into night, and I could see all the city lights twinkling in the darkness. It was then that I heard the LORD give me this message below.
MESSAGE:
“I can see the whole city from above here. Their lights therein will be soon taken away. Then what will they do ? It will be chaos, and total despair. Crime will abound and they will not be safe even in their own homes. This is coming. A LIGHTS OUT event. Prepare for it, lest you get caught in it.
I then, said to the LORD JESUS, “How do people prepare for something like that?”
I heard:
“I will be their light. Like in the days of the plagues, I protected those who put the blood of the lamb on the door posts. Have you put the BLOOD OF THE LAMB on yours? If not, then do so now! (Plead and apply the blood of JESUS over all the belongs to you and anoint with oil!) I will not be far off from those that cover themselves in My sacrifice on the CROSS. I will protect MY own.
Seek MY face and hear MY voice. I will instruct you when needed. I will send MY HOLY angels to come and surround you. Though you cannot see them, they are there!
Take heart children. Obey my instructions. The darkness is coming. The THREE DAYS OF DARKNESS is coming. Stay safe and secure in your houses when it comes. I will give you a sign before hand, so that you can get yourselves in place. This will mark the beginning of the tribulations ahead.

It was the 10th plague of Egypt where the Israelites were instructed to put the blood of a lamb on their doorposts, so that death would pass over them and not kill their first-borns. It was the 9th Plague where there was three days of darkness:
“Then the LORD said to Moses, “Stretch out your hand toward the sky so that darkness spreads over Egypt—darkness that can be felt.”
So Moses stretched out his hand toward the sky, and total darkness covered all Egypt for THREE DAYS.

Brothers and sisters, I believe that the LORD is saying that the Bible will NOW repeat itself, and we will be seeing some of the same plagues back from Mose’s day. The vision started with Lisa seeing things ‘flying in the sky”…spaceships, LOTS of spaceships. She knew this would happen during the three days of darkness so she wondered if that was what she was seeing, those three days. She had not been thinking about aliens or UFOs, this is not her cup of tea and she does not pay much attention to these things in the news, although like most Watchers she is aware they are demons and are/will deceive those left behind. And as mentioned before in visions, she has seen “aliens” walking around during the 3 DoD.
One of these spaceships lands on earth and Lisa sees an alien walk out. She is told this is an “alien gray”. This alien is between 5-6 feet tall and walks away from her BUT…every so often turns and stares at her. She has NO fear in this but is curious. Then something very strange happens. The alien steps into a human skin…like a suit. Like it zips it up or whatever, but the human flesh becomes a perfect human only it’s not…it’s an alien, known as a gray alien. Lisa asks questions of God….is this body dead or alive? It is alive because it is standing up. Is this from the ebola virus? A human offering himself to satan? Is this happening now? The human body has been manufactured and there are gray aliens IN this flesh now, walking around among us. They are already here she finds out…and some of them, many of them are very important political figures in the world (also entertainment industry)! They are soulless, they are in a manufactured human suit and there is no soul within that “person” because it isn’t a person, it’s a demon. These suits are created for this very purpose, and these demons have been around for a very long time. Some of them will also inhabit dead bodies from ebola or satanic as well as other people that have given their soul to satan. The Holy Spirit gave her these answers. This is separate from the actual event of the 3 DoD because this has been going on for decades.
Some of us know that this is true and we’ve heard or read rumors about who is a gray alien etc, in the political world. That is not what God is showing her though, I believe (and this is my opinion only) that He wants us to KNOW that these beings are among us NOW. We have been shown this in others dreams and visions and Words about “imposters”. God showed Lisa more about this…and that it is indeed a fact. While it is a very WEIRD fact, if you believe God is speaking to Lisa, then you understand that what He shows us..no matter WHAT it is, it is a blessing that we know this in advance. He is giving us more knowledge, and more training in this matter. I (Hope) personally loved this! I do feel that my purpose during the harvest has to do with revealing these demons and the Fallen for what they are. So to hear this from Lisa was 100% confirmation for me that these things are out there in manufactured human flesh. Trust me, it is very strange to even TYPE this so if you have not been aware of this issue before, I know it is difficult to take in. Please pray for discernment and clear reasoning in everything you read.
Now, you might ask how can this be? Well, since Roswell the “aliens” have been abducting people and experimenting with DNA. There have been a multitude of animal mutilations and when you watch the documentaries, you find out that these mutilations have surgically cut skin with entire organs removed very precisely. I’ve watched many of these shows with discernment, knowing that some are just fluff. However, my interest is peeked when for example, they bring out a surgeon to look at a mutilated cow and that surgeon says yes, that is surgically cut skin. Those types of things are what I look for. If you watch these shows or videos, eventually you come to understand that whatever these aliens are, they are NOT the good guys. On this website, we believe they are demons and the Fallen and are the great delusion that God will allow…IS allowing now. I find myself becoming quite ANGRY at what these things have done to humans. Not just physically but mentally. When reading their channelings a few years ago, the deceit was so cleverly put out there. So where is the positive in this? I found one. I have always been bothered by this verse because I knew that Hell was created for satan and his angels. But now I read this verse in a new light.
Revelation 17:8 “The beast that thou sawest was, and is not; and shall ascend out of the bottomless pit, and go into perdition: and they that dwell on the earth shall wonder, whose names were not written in the book of life from the foundation of the world, when they behold the beast that was, and is not, and yet is.”
You see, as the Bride, our names HAVE been written in the Book of Life from the foundation of the world. God created us for this purpose to be in this generation now to do His will through us during these end times. These “soulless” people who were created artificially….manufactured…by satan and his minions, are those “whose names were notwritten in the book of life from the foundation of the world.” They are not even human. They never had a chance at redemption because they will happily take the mark of the beast because it is the mark of their father the devil. I think there are more of these things out there than we realize. When I was reading the channelings in 2012, the Fallen always said they could walk right by us and we would never know. I believe this to be true now.
In upcoming days, I will post an “interview” with one of these things. They present themselves as if they are aliens from another planet etc. But I will take the interview apart similar to how I did with the NDE that was from a New Ager, and explain where the deceptions are. They will be obvious to you I am sure. But to those left behind? They will buy into it and we need to keep that in mind as we find out more and more from God, and how He is training us.
10/20/14 – Update on the Alien Grays vision…I spoke with Lisa last night and she gave me more insight into this. While these “people” are apparently walking around like everyone else, for the most part we cannot tell who is an imposter and who is not. Those with great spiritual insight ARE able to see that these people have no soul…generally when they look in their eyes they can tell. These “suits” were made for this purpose…for this time, and eventually they will be accepted as will the aliens that looks like aliens (aka demons). Lisa feels that satan is coming with the UFOs during the 3 DoD but will not be introduced to the people just yet. She also feels that the AC will spend several months “fixing” all the chaos on the earth from events BEFORE the Tribulation starts in a year from now. Should God give her more information on that, she will let us know.

On 5.22.20 I received a word – ‘tell them this weekend’. I knew that the Holy Spirit was referring to the Three Days of Darkness as it has been uppermost on my mind. The ‘them’ the Holy Spirit was referring to was my adult children specifically, as they do not know the Lord and I was concerned over their lost state and over this coming judgment.
The next morning I was looking out my window and I heard in my spirit ‘It will come on a day like this’. Again, I knew this was another reference to the Three Days of Darkness. I glanced at the time – it was 12:58pm on a beautiful Saturday morning and from what I could see – perfect blue skies. I also heard ‘soon’ and ‘when you least expect it’ followed by ‘always be at the ready children. Always be prepared as in battle formation for it comes with a vengeance. It comes’.
I went back to look at a video posted 12.1.19 by Linda Courtney, a You Tube messenger who I believe has received the most detailed word on the Three Days of Darkness by far. Below are highlighted excerpts of the word this messenger was given.

The days that approach quickly now will arrive as a ‘suddenly’ and all will be in shock. I have already dispatched My holy protector and warrior angels to stand guard over My chosen and elect ones. I Almighty God call upon you to be strong and courageous when the darkness falls. Place John 1:5 every minute of the day in your heart. My beloved son Jesus the Christ will give you the anointing power and courage you’ll need in the future if you focus on Him. I now call on My holy Army, My born again children to rise up in your God given authority and speak to others of what is coming. Also I would admonish you not to quarrel concerning the actual time when suddenly this event takes place. The timing is not for you to know. When this happens the world will be caught off guard but during the sudden event you will well understand and fear will leave you if you focus on Jesus Christ…Even though My plan stands and I will not change My mind, I ask My children to ask of Me what I would have them to do and I will answer.’
I was glad of the words given to me by the Holy Spirit and by messengers such as Linda Courtney. I pray that my children, family members and other lost souls hear the warnings that we’re sharing with them before it’s too late. As I’m writing all this down, the Holy Spirit just gave me another word on the Three Days of Darkness…‘Tell them it’s coming’.

For when they shall say, Peace and safety; then sudden destruction cometh upon them, as travail upon a woman with child; and they shall not escape.
There is not a lot of time left at all, please make it right with God before it’s too late for the kingdom of God is at hand. I’m just sharing some more Rapture/Endtime dreams that I received last month (July) 2020, just giving you guys a heads up of what’s coming to the earth, so brace yourselves please. I’m not telling you guys this to become fearful, but to be prepared, and get your house in order. ” For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind.” 2 Timothy 1:7.
URGENT WARNING: RAPTURE DREAMS
Dream: July 12th 2020:
I had a flash dream about all the Emergency Alert Systems flashing all over the world All at the same time of the incoming fireballs falling from the sky, Then I hear panic, fear, chaos and then I saw a clock ticking then I hear a voice saying “TIMES UP !” ‘”TIMES UP!”
Dream: July 22nd, 2020:
I had another snapshot dream about the darkness that’s coming to the earth and in the dream there was NO light at all, it was so Dark, I could not see anything at ALL, not even my hands for how dark it was and then I hear “Darkness is Coming”. And then the same voice kept saying Repent, Repent , Repent and I kept saying in my dream that I have to tell everyone to warn them of what’s coming on the Earth because in my dream I somehow knew via (insight) and I could feel something evil (demons) lurking in the darkness , they was not just lurking, but they came with the darkness onto the entire earth, – basically the whole earth was covered in the Darkness and the creatures and the darkness spread in my dreams as it spread it enveloped the whole earth. I was just briefly shown a glimpse of what was lurking in the darkness by God just, so I can know why everyone was screaming and running around panicking and what we were up against and attacking people in my dream. For some reason, I had a knowing that it had something to do with the 3 Days of Darkness coming to Earth, then the dream switched then I saw the Number 4 (four) in the dream too then I woke up.
The number 4 in the Strong’s Concordance has two meanings one in Greek and one in Hebrew.
• Greek 4: not burdensome
• Hebrew 4 : fruit
I’m going to be honest, I’m not at all versed at prophetic numbers and their meanings or dream interpretations since I recently started seeing numbers in my dreams – it’s all new to me and also my end-time prophetic dreams I’m still learning.
Jesus is coming back very soon , Jesus wants to be the King of your Life and your Heart. He’s just a still small voice standing at the door of your heart knocking. Please share the post …Thanks for listening and God’s blessings.

Various Christian dreams, visions, and prophetic messages indicate that as the bombs come down, the Christian remnant will go up in the rapture (1 Corinthians 15:50):

It seems this scripture passage specifically is referring to the rapture of the Church and not the Second Coming of Jesus:
Matthew 24:36-42 KJV - But of that day and hour knoweth no man, no, not the angels of heaven, but my Father only. [37] But as the days of Noe (Noah) were, so shall also the coming of the Son of man be. [38] For as in the days that were before the flood they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day that Noe entered into the ark, [39] And knew not until the flood came, and took them all away; so shall also the coming of the Son of man be. [40] Then shall two be in the field; the one shall be taken, and the other left. [41] Two women shall be grinding at the mill; the one shall be taken, and the other left. [42] Watch therefore: for ye know not what hour your Lord doth come.
Some people say the word "taken" is referring to being killed, but that does not match the Noah narrative because with the flood all perished and none remained alive but Noah and his family. This passage tells us that two will be in the field and the other left, which matches the instant catching away spoken of in this passage regarding the rapture (the catching up rapture by Jesus Christ):
1 Corinthians 15:52-53 KJV - In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed. [53] For this corruptible must put on incorruption, and this mortal must put on immortality.

Luke 17:26-30 KJV - And as it was in the days of Noe, so shall it be also in the days of the Son of man. [27] They did eat, they drank, they married wives, they were given in marriage, until the day that Noe entered into the ark, and the flood came, and destroyed them all. [28] Likewise also as it was in the days of Lot; they did eat, they drank, they bought, they sold, they planted, they builded; [29] But the same day that Lot went out of Sodom it rained fire and brimstone from heaven, and destroyed them all. [30] Even thus shall it be in the day when the Son of man is revealed.
This seems to indicate that just like Noah and Lot, God will save His remnant, His sanctified and faithful ones that believe in Jesus as LORD and savior, from the flood of judgment that will come upon the entire world. In an instant, we will be changed and caught up to Heaven before the day of judgment. This seems to match this Biblical passage as well:
Revelation 3:10-11 KJV - Because thou hast kept the word of my patience, I also will keep thee from the hour of temptation, which shall come upon all the world, to try them that dwell upon the earth. [11] Behold, I come quickly: hold that fast which thou hast, that no man take thy crown.
Yet, it seems only a remnant who walks in obedience to the LORD will be spared, the 5 wise virgins who have extra oil in their lamps, eagerly awaiting the Bridegroom. We must be as a virgin bride without spot, wrinkle, or blemish and to pray always to be accounted worthy to escape what is to come (Luke 21:36).

Rapture is a state or experience of being carried away. The English word comes from a Latin word, rapio, which means to seize or snatch in relation to an ecstasy of spirit or the actual removal from one place to another. In other words, it means to be carried away in spirit or in body. The Rapture of the church means the carrying away of the church from earth to heaven.
The Greek word from this term “rapture” is derived from 1 Thessalonians 4:17, which uses the translated word for the rapture as “caught up.” The Latin translation of this verse and phrase "caught up" used the word rapturo. The Greek word that "rapturo" was translated to is "harpazo," which means to snatch or take away. Elsewhere this rapture word is used to describe how the Spirit caught up Philip near Gaza and brought him to Caesarea (Acts 8:39) and to describe Paul’s experience of being caught up into the third heaven (2 Cor. 12:2-4). Thus there can be no doubt that the word is used in 1 Thessalonians 4:17 to indicate the actual removal of people from earth to heaven.
