By Their Fruit...

Jesus, our Lord and Savior, spoke to His disciples a parable of how to discern who is a true prophet or a true Christian:

Matthew 7:13-27 KJV — Enter ye in at the strait gate: for wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leadeth to destruction, and many there be which go in thereat: [14] Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it. [15] Beware of false prophets, which come to you in sheep's clothing, but inwardly they are ravening wolves.

[16] Ye shall know them by their fruits. Do men gather grapes of thorns, or figs of thistles? [17] Even so every good tree bringeth forth good fruit; but a corrupt tree bringeth forth evil fruit. [18] A good tree cannot bring forth evil fruit, neither can a corrupt tree bring forth good fruit. [19] Every tree that bringeth not forth good fruit is hewn down, and cast into the fire. [20] Wherefore by their fruits ye shall know them.

[21] Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven. [22] Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works? [23] And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity.

[24] Therefore whosoever heareth these sayings of mine, and doeth them, I will liken him unto a wise man, which built his house upon a rock: [25] And the rain descended, and the floods came, and the winds blew, and beat upon that house; and it fell not: for it was founded upon a rock. [26] And every one that heareth these sayings of mine, and doeth them not, shall be likened unto a foolish man, which built his house upon the sand: [27] And the rain descended, and the floods came, and the winds blew, and beat upon that house; and it fell: and great was the fall of it.

Commentary

In this excerpt, Jesus (God Embodied) tells us plainly not all who say they are Christian, and we can discern by their fruit. In other words, we can judge if someone is of the LORD if they keep His commands and show the fruit of the Spirit.

Be vigilant, be sober, many wolves appear as sheep and lead the flock astray. Satan's ministers can appear as ministers of righteousness damning the church into subtle peridtion - judge carefully, does the tree bear good fruit, if not, it's not of God..

Jesus tells us the way to recieve the Holy Spirit is through obedience to Him as our Lord:

John 14:15-18 KJV — If ye love me, keep my commandments. [16] And I will pray the Father, and he shall give you another Comforter, that he may abide with you for ever; [17] Even the Spirit of truth; whom the world cannot receive, because it seeth him not, neither knoweth him: but ye know him; for he dwelleth with you, and shall be in you. [18] I will not leave you comfortless: I will come to you.

If people confess to be Christian, yet they continue in disobedience, there is a good chance that the Holy Spirit is not in that person and He gave them over to a reprobate mind:

Titus 1:15-16 KJV — Unto the pure all things are pure: but unto them that are defiled and unbelieving is nothing pure; but even their mind and conscience is defiled. [16] They profess that they know God; but in works they deny him , being abominable, and disobedient, and unto every good work reprobate.

Another good way to discern if someone is of the LORD, is if they clearly and consistently exhibit the fruit of the Spirit:

Galatians 5:22-25 KJV — But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, [23] Meekness, temperance: against such there is no law. [24] And they that are Christ's have crucified the flesh with the affections and lusts. [25] If we live in the Spirit, let us also walk in the Spirit.

True Christians will keep the commandments of God in Christ, and will work righteousness:

1 John 3:9-10 KJV — Whosoever is born of God doth not commit sin; for his seed remaineth in him: and he cannot sin, because he is born of God. [10] In this the children of God are manifest, and the children of the devil: whosoever doeth not righteousness is not of God, neither he that loveth not his brother.

The reprobate ones are now doing the work of Satan:

Galatians 5:19-21 KJV - Now the works of the flesh are manifest, which are these ; Adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lasciviousness, [20] Idolatry, witchcraft, hatred, variance, emulations, wrath, strife, seditions, heresies, [21] Envyings, murders, drunkenness, revellings, and such like: of the which I tell you before, as I have also told you in time past, that they which do such things shall not inherit the kingdom of God.

Pray also for discernment, so that wolves in sheep's clothing do not leave you astray and cause you to stumble in faith and obedience in Christ Jesus.

Sometimes a true Christian is under attack from the enemy and can stumble in their walk or they have fallen into sin, so be sure to judge carefully and righteously. We should show grace to brothers and sisters, but also be aware of who is not of the Spirit, and who needs to be admonished in loving kindness.

Satan is on the prowl intensly at the moment because he knows his time is short and will use anyone to cause the righteous to stumble and stain their garments.

Be also aware of False Apostles and seducing spirits that are of Satan:

1 Timothy 4:1-2 KJV - Now the Spirit speaketh expressly, that in the latter times some shall depart from the faith, giving heed to seducing spirits, and doctrines of devils; [2] Speaking lies in hypocrisy; having their conscience seared with a hot iron;

2 Corinthians 11:3-4,13-15 KJV - But I fear, lest by any means, as the serpent beguiled Eve through his subtilty, so your minds should be corrupted from the simplicity that is in Christ. [4] For if he that cometh preacheth another Jesus, whom we have not preached, or if ye receive another spirit, which ye have not received, or another gospel, which ye have not accepted, ye might well bear with him . [13] For such are false apostles, deceitful workers, transforming themselves into the apostles of Christ. [14] And no marvel; for Satan himself is transformed into an angel of light. [15] Therefore it is no great thing if his ministers also be transformed as the ministers of righteousness; whose end shall be according to their works.

Please do not be swayed by false signs and wonders, we know Satan will do many great signs and wonders:

Mark 13:22 KJV - for false Christs and false prophets shall rise, and shall shew signs and wonders, to seduce, if it were possible, even the elect.

It is my suspicion that Todd White is someone to be careful of as he is leading many people into the arms of the False Prophet Pope Francis through the Ecumenical movement. Also the false fire from the Kundalini spirit:
